This configuration allows greater rigidity of the system at the joint when the utensil is in the retracted position.

  • the handle-sleeve assembly in contiguous contact thus forms a part for gripping the utensil having perfectly continuous surfaces which allows practical and effective use of the utensil.
  • the handle can be hollow so as to form an open case intended to receive at least a part of at least the head.
