Definitions

  • the present invention relates to the technical field of cosmetic instruments, and in particular portable housings designed to contain a cosmetic product intended to be extracted from the housing and then applied to the human body, and for example on the skin or integuments.
  • the inner face of the lid intended to come opposite the powder when the powder is in the transport configuration, is provided with a mirror over its entire surface.
  • the user is able to look at the inside of the lid while makeup.
  • these compacts of the prior art are relatively bulky and therefore not very discrete in use (that is to say, in use configuration with the lid deployed relative to the receptacle).
  • This lack of discretion can be particularly troublesome when the compact is used by a male, especially in social organizations where the use of a compact is generally considered to be exclusively in the female domain.
  • the gesture associated with the opening and use of the powder compacts of the prior art can also in itself help to divert a male audience from the use of this material, to the extent where said gesture can be perceived as being typically feminine.
  • disc pads used in the powder compacts of the prior art are likely to contaminate the user's fingers with powder, which is particularly inconvenient to use.
  • the fingers of the user may deposit various smears on the pad, in areas that may subsequently be in contact with the area to be made up (the face for example).
  • the aim of the invention is therefore to remedy the various disadvantages listed above and to propose a new powder compact which remains particularly discreet even when it is in use configuration and the construction of which allows great freedom in the design of the means of application. , in particular allowing the integration in the powder compact of a bulky application means, said compact further authorizing a gesture of use particularly attractive and simple.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a new powder compact particularly convenient to use.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a new powder compact for a gesture of particularly original use when the powder is in use configuration.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a new powder making it possible to apply the cosmetic product in a particularly practical and precise manner.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a new powder compact whose general appearance is close to that of the powder compacts of the prior art.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a new powder compact whose operation is based on simple and robust mechanical principles.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a new powder compact whose design is particularly simple and economical.
  • Another object of the invention is to provide a new compact compact compact when in use configuration.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a new powder compact whose use is based on a gesture totally different from that used in the prior art.
  • Another object of the invention is to propose a novel cosmetic treatment method based on a particularly practical, simple, original and attractive manipulation gesture of a powder compact.
  • the invention relates to a powder compact 1, that is to say a portable cosmetic case, able to be grasped and manipulated by hand, and incorporating means for performing a cosmetic treatment, preferably the skin.
  • the powder compact 1 according to the invention is a pocket compost, that is to say it is adapted to be worn on oneself (for example in a handbag or a pocket of clothing ) by a user.
  • the powder compact 1 therefore has a transportable character and is designed to be gripped in / or in the hand (s) and to be handled with both hands, or possibly with one hand.
  • the powder compact 1 includes a coherent cosmetic product 2, that is to say a cosmetic product which has a clean mechanical strength, and is advantageously in the form of a one-piece body.
  • the cosmetic product 2 consists of a compacted powder material, such as a makeup powder.
  • the cosmetic product 2 does not necessarily consist of a compacted powder, and may for example be in solid, pasty or even creamy form, insofar as the product stands by itself and does not flow spontaneously.
  • the cosmetic product 2 consists of a compacted makeup powder block intended to be applied to the face.
  • the application means 3 is constituted by an independent, separate and separable subassembly of the other parts constituting the powder compact 1.
  • the application means 3 comprises a brush , said brush being conventionally provided with a bundle of bristles 4 intended to come into contact with the cosmetic product 2 to take a fraction of said product, and a handle 5 intended to be manually gripped by the user.
  • the application means 3 is a flat brush, that is to say a brush whose hair bundle 4 has a broad and flattened profile, as shown in the figures.
  • a flat brush allows great application efficiency, without sacrificing precision and practicality.
  • the presence of a handle 5 dedicated to gripping prevents the user from defiling his fingers with the makeup powder deposited on the brush, since the latter is exclusively deposited on the bristles 4.
  • the powder compact 1 comprises a first element 6 having a storage face 6A on which the cosmetic product 2 is placed and a closing face 6B opposite to the storage face 6A.
  • the first element 6 forms a flap, having for example a substantially parallelepiped shape, and having two opposite faces, separated by the thickness of the flap, and respectively corresponding to the storage faces 6A and closing 6B.
  • the first element 6 is formed of an integral piece, obtained for example by molding a plastic material of the synthetic polymer type such as acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).
  • ABS acrylonitrile butadiene styrene
  • the first element 6 is advantageously shaped to achieve by construction the storage compartment.
  • the powder compact 1 also comprises a second element 7, distinct from the first element 6 and having opposite internal faces 7A and 7B.
  • the powder compact 1 comprises a connecting means 8 connecting the first element 6 and the second element 7 to allow the powder compact 1 to evolve between a transport configuration (illustrated in FIG. figure 1 ) in which the storage face 6A is arranged facing the inner face 7A and a configuration of use (illustrated in FIG. figure 6 ) in which the cosmetic product is accessible to a user.
  • the first and second elements 6, 7 are movably mounted relative to one another via the connecting means 8, between their transport and use configurations, each of these corresponding configurations. preferably at an abutment position of the elements 6, 7 against each other.
  • the powder compact 1 is preferably designed to evolve reversibly between its transport and use configurations, that is to say that the mechanical connection between the first and second elements 6, 7, made by the connecting means 8, allows the user to switch at will from the transport configuration (shown in the figure 1 ) to the usage configuration (shown in figure 6 ) and vice versa.
  • the transport configuration allows handling and bulk transport of the powder compact 1 without the risk of spreading or losing the cosmetic product 2.
  • the storage face 6A is arranged facing the inner face 7A so that the latter mask substantially cosmetic product 2 disposed on the storage face 6A.
  • the powder compact 1 thus forms, in the transport configuration, a protective case for the cosmetic product 2.
  • the storage face 6A and the internal face 7A are arranged facing each other. against each other, that is to say they are superimposed to prevent the communication of the cosmetic product 2 with the outside.
  • the cosmetic product 2 is found at least partially in the open air so that the user can take a fraction, for example using the application means 3, and the apply on his body.
  • the connecting means 8 is designed so that in use configuration the closure face 6B and the inner face 7A are superimposed, so that the compact 1 has a substantially identical size to the one that it presents in transport configuration.
  • the connecting means 8 is advantageously designed so that in use configuration the first element 6 is entirely in line with the second element 7, and does not protrude laterally. of the last. Thanks to this characteristic, the use of the powder compact gains in discretion, but also in originality, in its handling.
  • the invention is based in particular on the implementation of a mechanical link allowing a 180 ° turnaround of the first element 6, ie an inversion of the faces of this element. latest.
  • the first and second elements 6, 7 are superimposed both in the transport configuration and in the use configuration, the face of the second element 6 located outside the powder compact 1 being different depending on whether it is located in transport or use configuration.
  • the connecting means 8 comprises a double pivot link allowing articulation of the first element 6 relative to the second element 7 along two substantially perpendicular pivoting axes, in the manner of a universal joint. It is also conceivable, in place of this double pivot connection, to provide a spherical connection with a spheroidal male part connected to the first element 6 and a complementary spherical housing attached to the second element 7 and intended to accommodate the male part.
  • the user proceeds first, from the transport configuration, to an opening of the powder compact 1 according to a gesture substantially identical to that of the powder compacts of the prior art (relative pivoting of the first and second elements 6, 7 according to the first pivot axis). Then, once the first element 6 has been brought into the position illustrated in FIG. figure 8 the user can invert the faces 6, 7 of the first element 6 by pivoting said element 6 on itself around the second pivot axis. The user finally folds the first element 6 against the second element 7 so that the powder compact 1 is then found in use configuration, said usage configuration substantially corresponding to that illustrated in FIG. figure 6 .
  • the connecting means 8 is designed to allow both a relative translation and a pivoting of the first and second elements 6, 7.
  • the connecting means 8 is advantageously designed to produce a double pivot-slide connection between the first element 6 and the second element 7.
  • the connecting means 8 thus comprises a hinge allowing the relative pivoting of the first and second elements 6, 7 around a pivot axis X-X ', said connecting means 8 being designed to allow a displacement of said pivot axis XX with respect to one or the other of said first and second elements 6, 7. More specifically, in the examples illustrated in the figures, the connecting means 8 is designed to allow a displacement in translation of the pivot axis XX relative to the second element 7, the axis XX 'remaining preferably permanently immobile relative to the first element 6. It is however quite possible, without departing from the scope of the invention, that the pivot axis XX 'moves relative to the first element 6 and remains stationary relative to the second element 7.
  • the connecting means 8 preferably comprises a slide rail 9 attached to one of said first and second members 6, 7, and a slider 10 attached to the other of said first and second elements 6, 7, said slider 10 being connected to the slider rail 9 to firstly slide along the latter and secondly to rotate about itself along an axis of rotation XX 'substantially perpendicular to the direction main extension of the slide rail 9.
  • This embodiment variant which corresponds to the illustrated examples (with the exception of the example of the figure 8 ) is particularly interesting because it allows the introduction of a minimum number of parts. Indeed, the slide rail 9 and the slider 10 may be directly formed in the element 6, 7 to which they are respectively attached.
  • the slide rail 9 may advantageously be formed directly in the second element 7, while the slider 10 may be integral with the first element 6.
  • the slider 10 is mounted on said element (in this case the first element 6) to which it is attached, elastically sliding along said axis X-X '.
  • the slider 10 is in this case mounted on the element 6 (or possibly on the element 7) with a possibility of displacement with respect to said element 6.
  • the invention also relates, independently, to a powder compact 1 comprising on the one hand a first element 6 which itself has a storage face 6A on which a cosmetic product 2 and an opposite closure face 6B are placed, and on the other hand a second element 7 having an opposite inner face 7A and an opposite outer face 7B, said first and second elements 6, 7 being movably mounted relative to each other by means of a connecting means 8 allowing them to evolve reversibly between a transport configuration (illustrated at figure 1 ) in which the storage face 6A is disposed facing the inner face 7A and on the other hand a configuration of use (illustrated in FIG.
  • connecting means 8 being designed so that in use configuration said elements 6, 7 are substantially superimposed with the closure face 6B disposed facing the inner face 7A so that the powder compact 1 has in the configuration of use a bulkiness substantially identical to that which it presents in transport configuration, the connecting means 8 comprising a slide rail 9 attached to one of said first and second elements 6, 7, and a slider 10 attached to the other of said first and second elements 6, 7, said slider 10 being connected to the slider rail 9 to slide along the slider rail and secondly to turn on itself along an axis of rotation XX 'substantially perpendicular to the main extension direction of said rail 9.
  • the second element 7 forms a receptacle with a bottom having two opposite faces respectively corresponding to the inner faces 7A and 7B external, said receptacle forming said storage compartment, that is to say that the receptacle is shaped to accommodate its within the means of application 3.
  • the powder compact 1 comprises a mirror 12 (visible on the figure 4 ) disposed on the outer face 7B of the second element 7.
  • the mirror covers substantially the entire outer face 7B, so as to provide a viewing surface as comfortable as possible for the user.
  • the user therefore has a powder compact 1 which, when in the configuration of use, is in the form of a compact casing with two main faces, one of said main faces comprising the cosmetic product 2 while the opposite main face comprises the mirror 12.
  • the first and second elements 6, 7 are designed so that the user can, when the powder compact 1 is in the transport configuration (illustrated in FIG. figure 1 ), seize in one hand the second element 7, and while still holding the second element 7 with said hand, operate with the other hand the first element 6 to reach the configuration of use (illustrated in FIG. figure 6 ).
  • the second element 7 is designed to provide, when the powder compact 1 is in the transport configuration, a sufficient grip surface for the user to allow the latter to manually immobilize the powder compact 1 in order to then bring into use configuration (for example by pivoting and translation of the first element 6).
  • the second element 7 has a thickness E sufficient to allow a good grip by the user, said thickness E of the second element 7 is preferably much greater (for example two to three times greater) to the thickness e of the shutter forming the first element 6.
  • the first element 6 is preferably designed to penetrate into the receptacle forming the second element 7, so as to be laterally surrounded by said receptacle with the face closing 6B flush with the free upper edge 7C of said receptacle.
  • the powder compact 1 is handled according to a particularly original kinematics, since it involves maintaining in position the second element 7 and the set in motion relative to the user and the second element 7 of the first element 6 containing the cosmetic product 2.
  • this kinematics is strictly opposite to that allowed by the compacts of the prior art.
  • the second element 7 comprises a bottom, having a substantially square shape, from which rises a side wall comprising at least two lateral panels 13, 14, preferably substantially identical and of rectangular shape, said panels lateral members 13, 14 being disposed substantially parallel to one another.
  • the side wall rising from the bottom also comprises a front face 15 and a rear face 16 disposed parallel to each other perpendicular to the side panels 13, 14.
  • the height of the side panels and that of the front face 15 are substantially identical and correspond to the thickness E of the second element 7.
  • the height of the rear face 16 is smaller, that is to say that it corresponds to the thickness E of the second element 7 to which is subtracted the thickness e of the shutter forming the first element 6.
  • a recess 15A is formed in the front face 15 to allow the user to grasp the first element 6 when the powder compact 1 is in the configuration of transport, in order to bring said element 6 into the configuration of use.
  • the second element 7 thus forms a receptacle for receiving the application means 3.
  • the second element 7 preferably incorporates a box 70 disposed within the receptacle to reduce the capacity of the latter and adjust it to the dimensions of the brush forming the means of application 3, so as to limit the possibilities of inadvertent movement of the latter.
  • said second element 7 is provided with latching means intended to cooperate with means of locking. complementary clipping provided on the means of application 3. The user must therefore disable said latching means in order to extract the application means 3 out of the second element 7.
  • the slide rail 9 comprises meanwhile at least one groove 9A, and preferably two parallel grooves 9A, 9B arranged facing each other (that is to say facing each other) and arranged respectively in the side panels 13, 14.
  • each groove 9A, 9B extends substantially rectilinear over substantially the entire length of the panel 13, 14 concerned, said grooves being positioned in the upper part of said panels, that is, in the vicinity of the upper free edge 7C.
  • the slider 10 intended to cooperate with the rail 9 comprises meanwhile at least one pin 17 of circular section introduced into the groove 9A.
  • the slider comprise two pins 17, 18 for cooperating respectively with the first and the second groove 9A, 9B.
  • the flap forming the first element 6 advantageously comprises two parallel edges intended to respectively face the grooves 9A, 9B, the slide comprising two pins 17, 18 of circular section (that is to say having a shape substantially cylindrical base) extending respectively from said flap edges, in the opposite way, to penetrate the corresponding groove 9A, 9B.
  • the pins 17, 18 are engaged in the grooves 9A, 9B in a substantially adjusted manner, which allows the pins 17, 18 to slide along the corresponding groove 9A, 9B in translation, while being able to turn on them. even in said groove.
  • the studs 17, 18 thus provide both a guide in translation of the shutter while defining the axis of rotation XX 'of said shutter.
  • the pins 17, 18 are positioned towards one end of the shutter forming the first element 6, said end being chosen so that when the powder compact 1 is in the transport configuration, the pivot axis XX 'corresponding to the axis of extension of the pins 17, 18 is disposed near the recess 15A, that is to say that the axis XX 'is then found near the front face 15.
  • the variant corresponding to Figures 9 and 10 is identical to that of Figures 1 to 7 except that the nipples 17, 18 are positioned at the opposite end.
  • the pins 17, 18 are positioned towards one end of the shutter forming the first element 6, said end being chosen so that when the powder compact 1 is in transport configuration, the pivot axis XX 'corresponding to the axis of extension pins 17, 18 is disposed opposite the recess 15A, that is to say that the axis XX 'is then found near the rear face 16 and separated from the recess 15A by substantially the entire length of the side panels 13, 14.
  • This embodiment allows a particularly ergonomic and intuitive opening kinematics, in particular because it involves an initial pivoting movement of the first element 6 relative to the second element 7 which resembles the pivoting movement set used in the powder compacts of the prior art.
  • the pins 17, 18 are constituted by independent parts, separate from the part forming the first element 6 itself.
  • the first element 6 defines two ducts 60, 61, both coaxial with the axis X-X '.
  • the two ducts 60, 61 in question preferably result from the partition of a single duct, coaxial with the axis X-X ', thanks to a median piece 62, said median piece 62 coming preferably from material with the rest of the first element 6.
  • each of the ducts 60, 61 are respectively threaded a first and a second spring 19, 20, so that the first spring 19 is interposed between the central piece 62 and one of the nipples 18, while that the other spring 20 is interposed between the central piece 62 and the other stud 17.
  • Each of the pins 17, 18 is thus subjected to a restoring force of one of the springs 19, 20, which tends to push the pin 17, 18 concerned outwardly relative to the first element 6, along the axis X-X '. Thanks to this elastically translational mounting nipples 17, 18, they are permanently clad, under the effect of the action of the corresponding spring, against the bottom of the corresponding groove 9A, 9B.
  • this elastic tolerance of the positioning of each stud 17, 18 makes it possible to facilitate the sliding of the pins along the corresponding groove 9A, 9B, the axial compensation capacity (along the X-X 'axis) of each stud 17, 18 to prevent jamming of the first element 6 during its displacement in translation along the grooves 9A, 9B, such jamming may again come from manufacturing tolerances.

  • the powder compact 1 comprises an application means 3 of the cosmetic product 2, the second element 7 preferably comprising in this case a storage compartment 11 of the application means 3.
  • the connecting means 8 is designed so that in use configuration the closing face 6B is arranged facing the inner face 7A, the method comprising a step of opening the powder compact 1 to during which the user grasps the second element 7 of the powder compact 1 and, while keeping substantially still the second element 7, actuates the first element 6 to bring it to a position corresponding to the configuration of use (illustrated in FIG. figure 6 ).
  • the process according to the invention involves a completely new powder handling, the kinematics of which is opposite to that practiced in the prior art since it involves the immobilization of the element 7 not containing the cosmetic product 2 and the setting in motion of the element 6 enclosing the cosmetic product 2, this setting in motion corresponding to a reversal of said first element 6.
