Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a windscreen cleaner for motor vehicle windshields, preferably usable in windshield washer systems, which consists of a mixture of cleaning-active substances pressed into tablets.
It is already known to use phosphates and / or surfactants and / or alcohols and / or glycols as a constituent of liquid, pasty or solid powdery cleaning agents which are dissolved in high concentrations of about 50 to 500 ml or g in one liter of water are more or less able to remove dirt deposits on the windshield of motor vehicles by means of the windshield washer system.
Furthermore, cleaning agents based on surfactants and / or fillers or tableting aids in the form of tablets are also known, which dissolve automatically in the water of the windscreen washer system.
The known cleaning agents have the disadvantage that they achieve only a limited cleaning effect as builder-free and in particular phosphate-free compositions in aqueous and / or alcoholic solution on the windshield.
In addition, precipitation and / or clouding due to water-hardening-sensitive surfactants in the aqueous medium can occur, which lead to a further reduction in the cleaning effect or form opaque streaks and residues on the windshield, which impairs visibility. Fulver-type cleaning agents have the disadvantage of poor handling, since they have to be pre-dissolved in order to prevent the pump units and nozzles of the windscreen washer system from becoming blocked; in addition, these cleaning products tend to become cloudy in the alcoholic / aqueous medium, with the result that white opaque films form on the windshield.

The agents according to the invention can be prepared, for example, by spraying liquid or pasty surfactants or surfactant mixtures onto the high-molecular alkali polyphosphate and / or the hot-sprayed mixture consisting of the low-molecular alkali phosphate and an alkali sulfate, or powdery surfactants or the remaining components of the agent are mixed in with the aid of a mixing tool and the mixture obtained is pressed into tablets using a tabletting machine.
Weitere Vorteile der erfindungsgemäßen Zusammensetzung der Reiniguugstabletten sind deren selbsttätige, schnelle, rückstandslose und klare und daß die Waschlosung keinerlei Korrosions- scheden an irgendwelchen Fahrzeug-Karrosseriematerialien hervorruft, sowie eine einwandfreie Verträglichkeit der Komponenten mit einschlägig bekannten FrostschutzmittelnThe advantage of the agents according to the invention in comparison to the known relevant products is that, at a very low use concentration, preferably 1 g in 1 liter of water, a particularly good cleaning action against oil and pigment contamination and a perfect transparency of the windshield in the wiping area of the wipers is ensured . Further advantages of the composition of the cleaning tablets according to the invention are their automatic, fast, residue-free and clear and that the washing solution does not cause any corrosion damage to any vehicle body materials, and that the components are perfectly compatible with well-known antifreeze agents
A particular advantage, which could not be expected by a person skilled in the art, is that the cleaning agent according to the invention provides freeze protection of the aqueous cleaning agent solution down to about -10 ° C. even at an application concentration of 1 g / l.

A cleansing agent tablet according to Example 1 of 1 in 1 1 of industrial water of about 14 ° dH dissolved and on di surface of differently colored car sheets applied. After 48 hours, no change in the paint surface was found. In a further series of tests, the above cleaning agent solution with rubber seals, aluminum moldings, plastic parts and chrome-plated body parts of passenger cars was tested in a permanent immersion test during a contact time of 48 hours, with no material changes being observed either.
An aqueous solution of the cleaning agent according to Example 1 was prepared in a dilution ratio of 1: 1000 and the cleaning effect was determined in a practical test on long trips by vehicles. The visual inspection showed that the windshields within the wiping area of the window cleaners were cleaned completely without streaks and that the transparency of the windows was optimal.
Es wurde in keinem Fall eine Beeinflussung oder Trübung festgestellt.1 g of the cleaning agent according to Example 1 was dissolved in 1 l of 10 o dH water. This solution was mixed in a ratio of 2 parts by volume with 1 part by volume of known antifreeze and the mixtures were checked for precipitates after 8 and 48 hours at 20 ° and 0 ° C. No interference or clouding was found in any case.
A detergent solution consisting of 1 g of a detergent tablet according to Example 1 and 1 1 of tap water of about 15 ° dH was subjected to a pour point determination analogous to DIN 51583. A freezing point drop to -9 ° to -10 ° C was determined. This test result is Particularly surprising, since known detergent tablets in the same mixing ratio with water as the above solution only achieve a freezing point reduction of a maximum of -4 ° C.
A 1 g tablet was placed in 1 l of still water at 20 ° C. and the automatic dissolution rate of the cleaning agent according to example 1 was measured. It was about 8 minutes, even at a pH of about 6.8, which was almost neutral.
Known tabletted cleaning agents take about 15 minutes to dissolve, despite a low pH of about 5.0 under the same test conditions.
