Die an den Stirnseiten des Trägerprofils befindlichen Fassungen sind überwiegend fest montiert, sie bleiben bei einem Lampenwechsel in ihrer Position unverändert. Die Fassungen sind z.B. seitlich mit Schlitzen versehen, über die die Sockelstifte der Leuchtstofflampe eingeführt sind (der Lampenkörper wird beim Einsetzen achsparallel verschoben). Die Rastfeder 18 hat ein ebenes Mittelteil 19, an dem die Laschenpaare 20, 21 angebracht sind. Diese Laschen 20, 21 sind gegenüber dem ebenen Mittelteil 19 bogenförmig vorgespannt (Figur 6). Mittels der Klammerteile 22 ist die Rastfeder 18 am Fußteil 15 festgeklemmt. Bei eingeschobenem Fassungsteil 4, 5 liegen die bogenförmigen Laschen 20, 21 in den dachförmig abgewinkelten Randteilen 12 des Trägerprofils 3. Die Ausgestaltung der Laschen 20, 21 und entsprechende Anschläge an den jeweiligen Enden des Trägerprofils 3 ergeben zwei Raststufen für die Fassungsteile 4, 5. Die Anschläge sind durch Verschränkungen 23 an den Enden der Randteile 12 gebildet (insbesondere Figuren 4 und 7). Während die Laschen 20 zum Herausziehen der Fassungsteile 4, 5 nach Überwindung eines gewissen anfänglichen Widerstandes über die Verschränkungen 23 hinweggleiten können, ist für die Laschen 21 durch die Verschränkungen 23 eine - ohne Werkzeug - unüberwindliche Sperre vorgegeben, die bewirkt, daß die vom Trägerprofil 3 seitlich abgezogenen Fassungsteile 4, 5 am Trägerprofil 3 befestigt bleiben. Das im wesentlichen ebene Kontaktteil 29 weist - etwa mittig angeordnet - eine leichte Verwindung 31 auf, an der der Sockelstift jeweils vorbeigeführt ist und mit einer gewissen Federkraft kontaktiert wird. A fluorescent lamp assembly comprising a linear fluorescent lamp (2) and an elongate, trough-shaped carrier profile (3) having a width (b) which is determined by the inside spacing of the side walls (10) of the carrier profile (3) and is only slightly greater than the diameter (d) of the discharge tube (9), with the fluorescent lamp (2) being disposed above the carrier profile (3) so as to be parallel and not in contact with it, and with the lamp being supported in contacting manner in socket members (4, 5) which may be slipped axially into the respective front ends of the carrier profile (3) by means of base pieces (15) disposed thereon, and with a ballasting choke (6), a starter element (8) and current supply cords being contained in the cavity of the carrier profile (3), wherein the open side of the carrier profile (3) faces the discharge tube (9) of the fluorescent lamp (2), the side walls (10) of the carrier profile (3) are of sufficient height so that the discharge tube (9) is slightly embedded in the carrier profile (3), the cavity of the carrier profile (3) below the discharge tube (9) which is limited by the bottom member (11) has a height (h) which is smaller than the diameter (d) of the discharge tube (9), and the socket members (4, 5) at the front ends of the carrier profile (3) are so designed that they may be moved apart sufficiently in axial direction out of their normal operating position to a stop location such that the fluorescent lamp (2) may be removed from the socket members (4, 5) without any other measures being required for this purpose.
2. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 1, wherein the clear height (h) between the bottom member (11) of the carrier profile (3) and the underside of the discharge tube (9) is about 2/3 of the diameter (d) of the discharge tube (9).

A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 1 or 2, wherein the carrier profile (3) comprises a plane bottom member (11) with side walls (10) extending therefrom at a right angle and having rim portions (12) which extend along the discharge tube (9) and are bent towards the interior in the form of a roof.
4. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in one of the claims 1 to 3, wherein the socket members (4, 5) at the front ends of the carrier profile (3) each have a cap (14) which receives the lamp end and surrounds the lamp base (13) completely after it has been inserted therein.
5. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in one of the claims 1 to 4, wherein the base piece (15) disposed on the socket members (4, 5) is formed as a flat, elongate parallelepiped.
6. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 5, wherein on the base piece (15) there is disposed a stop spring (18) by which the respective socket member (4, 5) is fixed to the carrier profile (3) when it has been slipped into it or when it has been moved toward the exterior.

A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 3 and 6, wherein the stop spring (18) consists of a stamped metal part whose plane middle portion (19), which rests horizontally on the parallelepipedal base piece (15), is generally rectangular and which is provided on the longitudinal sides thereof with two flaps (20, 21) located one behind the other which, in contrast to the plane middle portion (19), have an arcuate initial stress and wherein these arcuate flaps (20, 21) of the stop spring (18) lie within the roof-shaped rim portions (12) of the carrier profile (3) when the base piece (15) has been inserted, the rim portions comprising stops for the flaps (20, 21) at the respective ends thereof.
8. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 7, wherein the stops are formed by crossings (23) at the end of the rim portions (12).
9. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claims 4 and 5, wherein the socket members (4,
5) with the base piece (15) disposed thereon each consist of two bowl halves (16, 17) which lie on both sides of the longitudinal central plane of the fluorescent lamp assembly and are joined by snap connection members.

A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 9, wherein the caps (14) of the socket members (4, 5) comprise a partition (25) which extends at a right angle with the lamp axis and is provided with bores (27) which are only slightly larger than the axial base pins which are passed through them, with the partition (25) providing a rear cap portion (26) which is remote from the lamp end and in which the contacting of the base pins is effected and a front cap portion which receives the lamp base (13).
11. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 10, wherein the rear cap portion (26) and the hollow base piece (15) of the socket members (4, 5) form a continuous space.
12. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 10 or 11, wherein contact sheets (28) are inserted in the rear cap portion (26) in each case behind the bores (27) for the reception of the base pins, the contact sheets comprising, in addition to clamping flaps (30) for fixing the current supply cord (33), a substantially plane contact member (29) which is slightly offset relative to the axis of the bore and extends parallel with the respective inserted base pin and laterally abuts the base pin in contacting manner.
13. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in claim 12, wherein the otherwise plane contact members (29) for the contacting of the base pins comprise a bending (31) at the height of the respective bore (27).
14. A fluorescent lamp assembly as claimed in one of the claims 1 to 13, wherein a current supply cord (34) is inserted at the one socket member (5) in axial direction relative to the carrier profile (3) and the second socket member (4) comprises an on-off switch (35) projecting from the socket housing and arranged axially relative to the carrier profile (3).
