Abstract

For the purpose of easy and rapid installation of lighting trunking, the required through-wiring can be formed on the side of the mounting rail as a conductor rail. Such conductor rails represent a not inconsiderable outlay in terms of production engineering. In order to reduce the expenditure of production engineering in conjunction with the use of the conductor rail engineering suitable for rapid and easy installation, it is proposed to implement the through-wiring on the side of the mounting rail (1) in the manner of a conductor rail from insulated conducting wires (2), which are arranged at a close spacing next to one another and are fixed in extension of the mounting rail (1) in freely selectable sections in cable holders (3, 30) attached to the mounting rail (1). The insulated conducting wires (2) have a bared wire section (2.1) inside the cable holders (3, 30), so that the cable holders (3, 30) simultaneously enable the function of a socket-contact, to which on the side of the basic battens (4, 40, 40.0, 41, 42, 43, 44) plugs (7, 70, 71) having resilient contact elements (7.2, 70.2) are assigned. <IMAGE>

Description

The invention relates to a light strip consisting of a mounting rail with luminaire inserts, in which the electrical wiring is permanently installed in the mounting rail and the luminaire inserts can be connected to the wiring via plug-in couplings.

Light strips making use of such a structure are known, for example, from the literature reference DE-OS 21 04 707. The through wiring is housed here in the form of parallel conductors in the longitudinal grooves of the mounting rail. The luminaire inserts in turn have plugs with resilient contact elements which engage in the longitudinal grooves when inserted into the mounting rail and produce the desired electrical contact with the conductors.

The use of such a busbar technology for luminaire inserts to be fastened to mounting rails advantageously enables light strips to be installed easily and quickly. The manufacture of the mounting rails designed as busbars is relatively complex in terms of production technology, because the conductors to be inserted into the grooves require a special profile and, insofar as the mounting rail material consists of a metallic material, special insulation measures are required between the conductors and the grooves receiving them.

The invention has for its object to provide a further solution for a light band, which also enables easy and quick assembly of the luminaire inserts to be attached to the mounting rail, but does not require the production-technically complex busbar technology.

This object is achieved according to the invention by the features specified in claim 1.

The invention is based on the finding that the wiring can also be carried out in the manner of a conductor rail from insulated conductor wires which are arranged at a short distance from one another and which are fixed in freely selectable intervals in line holders attached to the carrier rail, which function at the same time from sockets. As a result, access to the through-wiring is restricted to the locations of the line holders. As practice shows, this limitation can be accepted, since the luminaire inserts are largely fixed in their dimensions and there are no difficulties in arranging the cable holder according to location and mutual distance on the bottom of the mounting rail so that the desired assignment to the plugs of the luminaire inserts to be accommodated by the mounting rail is guaranteed.

Advantageous embodiments of the subject matter according to claim 1 are specified in the further claims 2 to 8.

The exploded view of FIG. 1 shows a piece of a mounting rail 1 with a U-shaped profile, the free leg ends of which have an inwardly curved edge 1.1. The bottom of the mounting rail 1 has in the middle an inwardly directed groove-shaped configuration 1.2, on which, as shown in particular by the top view of the mounting rail 1 from below according to FIG. The line holders 3 are plastic plates which are fastened with their underside to the mounting rail base and have grooves 3.2 parallel to one another on their top side in the extent of the mounting rail 1. The cross section of the grooves 3.2, starting from the top of the groove, has a threading shaft 3.21 tapering in a funnel shape towards the groove bottom, to which there is a circular one open to the threading shaft 3.21 Line wire chamber 3.22 connects. The lead holders 3 serve to hold insulated lead wires 2, which are arranged parallel to one another at a short distance from one another in the extension of the mounting rail 1. These are received by the lead wire chambers 3.22 of the grooves 3.2. For this purpose, the diameter of the lead wire chambers 3.22 of the grooves 3.2 are adapted to the diameter of the insulated lead wires 2. In order to ensure that the insulated conductor wires 2 are jammed in the grooves 3.2, the width of the opening in the cross section of a groove 3.2 between the threading shaft 3.21 and the conductor wire chamber 3.22 is chosen to be somewhat smaller than the diameter of the insulated conductor wires 2.

As can still be seen in FIG. 2, an insulation-free wire section 2.1 is created for the lead wires 2 in the middle region of the lead wire chambers 3.22 by separating the insulation. This makes it possible to use the cable holder 3 to simultaneously perform the function of the socket of a plug-in coupling consisting of a plug and socket.

The support rail 1 with a U-shaped profile, which is to be fastened, for example, to a ceiling or to hangers, makes it possible to accommodate luminaire inserts 4. In FIG. 1, the luminaire insert 4 shown there is a housing 5 with socket holders 6 at the end, the sockets 6.1 of which enable a fluorescent lamp to be received . The fluorescent lamp is arranged outside the housing 5. In addition to the usual wiring, the housing 5 also accommodates the plug 7, which on the side of the mounting rail 1 has, in addition to three resilient contact elements 7.2, for example pressure contact pins, a centering bushing 7.1 on the side. When the luminaire unit 4 is inserted into the mounting rail 1, the line holder 3 of the mounting rail assigned to the plug 7 of the luminaire insert 4 first engages in the centering socket 7.1 on the plug side with its centering pin 3.1. In the inserted state of the lamp unit 4 in the mounting rail 1, the resilient contact elements 7.2 of the plug 7 continue to engage in the grooves 3.2 of the line holder 3 assigned to them and produce the desired electrical contact when pressed onto or pressed onto the insulation-free wire sections 2.1. Instead of the connector 7 in the lamp unit 4 according to FIG. 1, which here represents an independent component, the connector can also be an integral part of a component of the lamp unit 4. Such a variant is shown in FIG. 4 in a side view of a front holder 60, in which the plug 70 with its resilient contact elements 70.2 is integrated into the holder 60 on the foot side. When using socket holders according to FIG. 4 for luminaire inserts 4 corresponding to FIG. 1, then only the line holder 3 assigned to a plug 70 in FIG. 1 either has to be shifted to the left or, if the mutual distance a of the line holders 3 is equal to the mutual distance of the Socket holder 60 is selected for the luminaire insert, the luminaire insert according to FIG. The mutual distance a between the line holders 3 is expediently 307 mm. At this distance, most of the lighting units commonly used for such light strips can be inserted into the mounting rail 1 in any order due to their dimensions.

Viewed from left to right, 44 is a luminaire unit realized by a Dulux lamp 44.2, 43 a swiveling spotlight, 40.0 a luminaire unit in the form of a linear luminaire with reflector 40.3, with 42 a lamp unit with an incandescent lamp 42.2, with 40 a lamp unit with one or two unshielded fluorescent lamps 12 and with 41 a lamp unit also with two unshielded fluorescent lamps 12. Empty sections of the mounting rail 1 on the light strip according to FIG. 5 are provided with simple covers 8.1.

Der Schnitt VI/VI im Bereich der Leuchteneinheit 40 des Lichtbandes nach Fig. 5 ist in Fig. 6 angegeben.
