Abstract

Canaux de coulee pour materiaux en fusion soutires de hauts fourneaux ou de fours electriques. Un corps allonge (1) monobloc en materiau refractaire est pourvu de moyens permettant de le soulever et de le transporter a l'aide de crochets. Lesdits moyens comprennent des tubes supports (2) disposes longitudinalement sur les deux bords de la partie superieure du corps, des elements de support transversaux (3) qui sont regulierement ecartes a des distances convenables afin de relier les tubes supports disposes de part et d'autre du corps du canal, et des evidements (4) pratiques dans le corps a des emplacements appropries afin de permettre le passage des crochets saisissant les tubes supports (2). Le fait que le corps du canal presente des moyens de support possedant une telle solidite, ainsi que des moyens d'accrochage qui ne font pas saillie a la surface superieure du corps, contrairement aux brides de support des canaux de coulee de type conventionnel, entraine les avantages suivants: les moyens d'accrochage sont proteges de la chaleur irradiee et des eclaboussures provenant des materiaux en fusion qui s'ecoulent dans le canal. Ceci ameliore considerablement la securite lors du transfert. De plus, comme la surface superieure ne comporte aucune saillie, les canaux peuvent etre empiles lors de leur entreposage ce qui permet de reduire l'espace necessaire.
