3. A straightening machine according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in, that the bearings (6, 21) of the straightening rollers (5, 22) are held side by side in a guide (7, 8 or 19, 20 respectively) on the roller frame (4 or 8 respectively).

A straightening machine according to any one of claims 1 to 3, characterized in, that both the wedges (12) disposed transversely to the straightening rollers (5) and the wedges (25) disposed parallel to the straightening rollers (22) are displaceable by hydraulic cylinders (14 or 27 respectively), the pressurisation of which may be controlled individually or jointly.

A straightening machine according to any one of claims 1 to 4, characterized in, that the back-up rollers (10, 30) associated with the individual straightening rollers (5, 22) are mounted on the bearing supports (16) or the support cams (29) respectively in such a way that their axes are offset alternately in the direction of travel of the metal sheets and opposite thereto from the vertical axial plane of the straightening rollers (5, 22).
