Claims (4)

1. Verfahren zum Steuern der Walzgutspannung zwischen zwei aufeinanderfolgenden, Arbeitswalzen aufweisenden Walzgerüsten beim Warmwalzen von dickem Walzgut, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der aus einer fortlaufenden Messung der Walzgutgeschwindigkeit Vs zwischen den Gerüsten und aus einer fortlaufenden Messung der Umfangsgeschwindigkeit Vc der Arbeitswalzen eines Gerüstes für dieses Gerüst sich ergebende Gleitwert go durch Einstellung der Rotationsgeschwindigkeit der Arbeitswalzen mindestens eines der beiden Gerüste im wesentlichen auf einem einer geringen Zugspannung entsprechenden Soll-Wert gehalten wird.
2. Verfahren nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß durch den fortlaufenden Vergleich des durch Anwendung der Formel go = Vs - Vc Vc ermittelten Gleitwertes go mit dem Sollgleitwert ein Fehlersignal erzeugt und dieses Fehlersignal durch Einstellung der Rotationsgeschwindigkeit der Arbeitswalzen mindestens eines Gerüstes auf den Wert 0 gebracht wird.
3. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 und 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß der SollGleitwert einem Gleitwert entspricht, der sich ohne eine Erhörung der Zugspannung um 2 bis 5 % ergibt.
. 4. Verfahren nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Walzgutgeschwindigkeit durch den Vergleich zweier von dem Walzgut ausgehender, gleicher, gegeneinander phasenverschobener Signale gemessen wird, wobei der Vergleich mittels eines Korrelations-Rechners mit vorgegebener Verzögerung erfolgt und der Anfangswert der Verzögerung der mittleren Geschwindigkeit des Walzgutkopfes vor den die Signale liefernden Meßpunkten entspricht.
