Abstract
Se describe un sistema basado en visión en línea (400) utilizado para la inspección y procesamiento de material alimentario (408) y métodos de formación de imágenes asociados. El sistema incluye una cinta transportadora (402), una placa transparente (412) y un sistema de imágenes (422), en donde el sistema de imágenes incluye una fuente de luz (424) y al menos una cámara. El sistema de imágenes produce datos de imágenes a partir de múltiples vistas de la luz que pasa a través de un objeto en la placa transparente y es capturada por la cámara. Los datos de la imagen corresponden a uno de los datos de la imagen de transmitancia, interacción o reflectancia y se transmiten a un procesador (428). El procesador procesa los datos utilizando el aprendizaje automático para generar un modelo tridimensional de la geometría de una porción del material interno al objeto para determinar los límites de la parte en relación con el material circundante.
