Abstract

В настоящем изобретении предложены генетически сконструированные микроорганизмы Вуда-Льюнгдаля, содержащие один или более нарушенных генов для стратегического отвода потока углерода от несущественных или нежелательных продуктов к интересующим продуктам. Стратегии экспрессии согласно настоящему изобретению позволяют получать полезные виды топлива и химические вещества из газообразных субстратов, например монооксида углерода, диоксида углерода и/или водорода.
