Abstract
Настоящее изобретение относится к новым применениям чистого антагониста 5-HTрецептора, а именно 1-[(2-бромфенил)сульфонил]-5-метокси-3-[(4-метил-1-пиперазинил)метил]-1H-индола, или его фармацевтически приемлемых солей при лечении деменции, вызванной менопаузой, старческой деменции, васкулярной деменции, когнитивных нарушений, вызванных химиотерапией, и поведенческих изменений при деменции, таких как ажитация, агрессия, депрессия, тревога, психоз, расторможенность или нарушения сна. Настоящее изобретение, кроме того, относится к применению указанных соединений при изготовлении лекарственного средства, предназначенного для лечения заболеваний, описанных в настоящем документе.
