Данное изобретение относится к рифаксимину для применения в лечении бактериальных вагинальных инфекций. Изобретение также относится к применению рифаксимина для лечения пациентов с вагинальными инфекциями, у которых развился рецидив после предшествующего лечения или которые имеют бактерии, резистентные к антибиотикам, отличным от рифаксимина.
