Сущность способа состоит в экстракции листьев лещины обыкновенной 95%-ным этиловым спиртом, упаривании спирта, прибавлении очищенной воды, упаривании до водного остатка, промывании хлороформом, упаривании очищенного водного раствора, отфильтровывании осадка, упаривании до сухого остатка, дальнейшем растворении в этиловом спирте, концентрировании, отделении кристаллов, упаривании фильтрата до сухого остатка, растворении в очищенной воде, отфильтровывании, упаривании до сухого остатка и объединении осадка из воды с кристаллами из спирта.
