Abstract

The invention relates to the field of construction of pipelines and is designed to isolate butt joints of pre-insulated pipelines in a polymer shell for heat networks, water pipes, oil pipelines with a diameter of 57-1500 mm. The objective of the invention is to take advantage of the prototype of the heat shrinkable sleeve while simplifying the method and increasing its performance, especially when insulating the joint of pre-insulated pipelines. The problem is solved in that the tape of the electric heating element before installation is bent along the longitudinal axis with the boom deflection in the direction of the coupling, while the boom deflection perform less or equal to the gap between the coupling and the surface of the shell, turn on the electric heating element first full heat for welding the sleeve and shell. There are other differences from the prototype. The advantages of the process lie in the simplicity of the method implementation and the increase in its productivity in comparison with the known methods and the increase in reliability against the opening of the weld tightness in the longitudinal direction.
