Abstract
Предложены система и устройство для управляемого термоядерного синтеза в магнитной топологии с обращенной конфигурацией поля (FRC) и преобразования энергии продуктов термоядерного синтеза непосредственно в электрическую энергию. Ионы плазмы предпочтительно удерживаются магнитным полем в конфигурации FRC, в то время как электроны плазмы удерживаются электростатическим полем в глубокой потенциальной яме, созданной посредством регулировки приложенного извне магнитного поля. В этой конфигурации ионы и электроны могут иметь адекватную плотность и температуру, так что при столкновениях они вступают в термоядерную реакцию под действием ядерных сил, образуя, тем самым, продукты термоядерного синтеза, которые возникают в виде кольцевого пучка. Энергия отбирается из ионов продуктов термоядерного синтеза, когда они движутся по спирали мимо электродов обратного циклотронного преобразователя.
