Abstract

Данное изобретение относится к способу и устройству, посредством которых водный раствор, поступающий с процесса жидкостной экстракции, применяемого при гидрометаллургическом извлечении металлов, очищают от капель органического экстракционного раствора. Водный раствор обрабатывают в резервуаре отстойника, где его заставляют протекать через область проточных каналов с уменьшенным поперечным сечением, которая простирается по всей ширине резервуара по меньшей мере в одной точке. Эти проточные каналы расположены в нижней секции устройства для коалесценции капель по данному изобретению, при этом верхняя секция устройства выполнена по существу сплошной.
