In-vitro dissolution, as well as in-vivo absorption of fluconazole from the capsules of the invention, is faster and more stable than commercially available compositions containing fluconazole. The invention is based on the discovery that granulation of fluconazole particles with a substance capable of providing a hydrophilic surface on these particles, for example lactose, results in a quick and constant release of the active ingredient between particles. Thus, the capsules of this invention are suitable for providing improved absorption of said active ingredient.
