Abstract

A fire-resisting wall element (1) reducing heat transition and with at least two insulating layers (2, 2a) made from bound mineral wool contains a layer (3) arranged between the insulating layers (2, 2a) which is produced from a mixture of a dehydrating hydroxide and an inorganic binder such as water glass or silica sol.
