Abstract

The mixer tap has a valve plate which moves over the inlet ducts for the hot and cold water and which is controlled by a slider action in two directions. This controls the relative flow rates and the total flow rate. The plate is also controlled by a thermostat with adjustable settinq. The olate has fittings for the thermostat. The temperature is set by a selector control and the thermostat plate operates with a floating mounted bearing plate.
