Claims (6)

1. Fremgangsmåde omfattende: måle et levedygtigt celleantal afen mikroorganisme hørende til Bifidobacterium breve alene, blandt bakterier der skal testes der omfatter en mikroorganisme hørende til slægten Bifidobacterium, gennem anvendelse af et dyrkningsmedium, hvor dyrkningsmediet opfylder følgende betingelser 1) og 2), og det levedygtige celleantal bestemmes ved at måle kolonier med en diameter på 0,7 mm eller derover der er dannet i dyrkningsmediet: 1) indeholder mindst én sukkeralkohol valgt fra sorbitol og mannitol som eneste sukkerkilde, hvor en koncentration af sukkeralkohol i dette dyrkningsmedium ikke er større end 4 masseprocent, i forhold til dyrkningsmediets totale masse; og 2) indeholder pepton, kødekstrakt og gærekstrakt som nitrogenkilder, hvor et indhold af pepton er 6,0 til 14,0 g/1000 ml, et indhold af kødekstrakt er 6,0 til 14,0 g/1000 ml, og et indhold af gærekstrakt er 1,8 til 4,2 g/1000 ml, i 1000 ml af dyrkningsmediet.
2. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1, hvor mikroorganismen hørende til Bifidobacterium breve er en Bifidobacterium breve M-16V-stamme.
3. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor bakterien der skal testes omfatter, som mikroorganismen hørende til slægten Bifidobacterium, mikroorganismen hørende til Bifidobacterium breve, og mindst én type mikroorganisme valgt fra gruppen bestående afen mikroorganisme hørende til Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum, en mikroorganisme hørende til Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis, og en mikroorganisme hørende til Bifidobacterium longum subsp. infantis.
4. Fremgangsmåden ifølge krav 3, hvor mikroorganismen hørende til Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum er en Bifidobacterium longum subsp. longum BB536-stamme.

Dyrkningsmedium til at måle et levedygtigt celleantal afen mikroorganisme hørende til Bifidobacterium breve alene, blandt bakterier der skal testes der omfatter en mikroorganisme hørende til slægten Bifidobacterium, der anvendes i fremgangsmåden som beskrevet i et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 4, hvor dyrkningsmediet opfylder følgende betingelser 1) til 5): 1) indeholder mindst én sukkeralkohol valgt fra sorbitol og mannitol som eneste sukkerkilde;2) en koncentration af denne sukkeralkohol ikke er større end 4 masseprocent, i forhold til dyrkningsmediets totale masse;3) indeholder gærekstrakt, i 1000 ml af dyrkningsmediet, ved en koncentration fra 1,8 til 4,2 g/1000 ml;4) indeholder kødekstrakt, i 1000 ml af dyrkningsmediet, ved en koncentration fra 6,0 til 14,0 g/1000 ml; og5) indeholder pepton, i 1000 ml af dyrkningsmediet, ved en koncentration fra 6,0 til 14,0 g/1000 ml.
