Claims (19)
- udførelse af en herbicid behandling af planten ved påføring af en herbicid sammensætning omfattende sulfonylurinstof(fer) (SU), til planten og dennes umiddelbare omgivelser, hvilken herbicid sammensætning omfatter (1) et SU valgt blandt amidosulfuron, flupyrsulfuron, foramsulfuron, imazosulfuron, iodosulfuron, mesosulfuron, nicosulfuron, thifensulfuron og tribenuron, agronomisk acceptable salte og estere deraf, og kombinationer deraf, og (2) eventuelt ikke mere end 10 vægt-% af andet SU indhold, ikke mere end 5 vægt-% af andet SU indhold, eller ikke mere end 3 vægt-% af andet SU indhold; hvor Brassica planten omfatter ét herbicidtolerant AHASL (HT-AHASL)-gen, hvor kun ét af HT-AHASL generne i planten koder for en sulfonylurinstofherbicidtolerance (SU-HT)-mutation, hvor SU-HT-mutationen er W574X, og hvor HT-AHASL-genet, som koder for SU-HT-mutationen er placeret i A genomet for Brassica planten; og hvor udbyttet er lig med eller større end udbyttet tilvejebragt af en vild-typeversion af den samme type af vinter-type Brassica planten.
- 4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 3, som yderligere omfatter udvælgelse, før behandlingen med herbicidsammensætningen, af den herbicidtolerante Brassica plante.
- 5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 3, som yderligere omfatter udvælgelse af frø, som er i stand til at producere den herbicidtoletante Brassica plante, plantning af frøet og dyrkning af den herbicidtoletante Brassica plante ud fra frøet.
- 6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 3, hvor HT-AHASL-genet, som koder for W574X-mutationen: (a) koder for W574X-homozygot eller hemizygot; (b) koder for W574X i et allel og koder for en vild-type W574W rest i det homologe allel; eller (c) koder for to forskellige W574X-mutationer heterozygot
- 7. Fremgangsmåde til udvælgelse af en HT vinter-type Brassica plante omfattende: (I) udførelse af behandlingen efter spiring ifølge punkterne (A)(1) og (B) ifølge krav 1, eller udførelse af behandlingen før spiring, eller behandlingen 0 til 30 dage før plantning ifølge punkterne (A)(2) og (B) ifølge krav 1; og (II) udvælgelse af en Brassica plante, som er i stand til at tolererer den nævnte SU behandling med en dosisstørrelse på i det mindste 1x af SU uden nogen betydelig SU-herbicid-induceret skade ved behandlingen.
- 8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 7, hvor herbicidsammensætningen yderligere omfatter ét eller flere imidazolinonherbicider.
- 9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 8, hvor imidazolinonet er imazamox eller et agronomisk acceptabelt salt eller en agronomisk acceptabel ester deraf.
- 10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 9, hvor SU-HT-mutationen er valgt blandt W574L, W574M, W574C, W574S, W574R, W574G, W574A, W574F, W574Q og W574Y.
- 11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 10, hvor SU-HT-mutationen erW574L.
- 12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 11, hvor Brassica planten yderligere omfatter i det mindste én andedn HT-mutation, som er kodet af i det mindste ét HT-AHASL-gen i planten, hvor den anden HT-mutation er valgt blandt A122X, R199X, A205X, S653X, G654X og kombinationer deraf.
- 13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12, hvor den i det mindste ene anden HT-mutation er valgt blandt A122T, A122V, A122D, A122P, A122Y, R199A, R199E, A205V, A205C, A205D, A205E, A205R, A205T, A205W, A205Y, A205N, S653N, S653I, S653F, S653T, G654Q, G654C, G654E, G654D og kombinationer deraf.
- 14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 2 til 3, hvor ukrudt, som foreligger i den umiddelbare nærhed af vinter-type Brassica planten bekæmpes af den nævnte SU-herbicidsammensætning.
- 15. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 2, hvor SU-herbicidsammensætningen foreligger som en jordrest af en SU-herbicidsammensætning påført en tidligere kultur.
- 16. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 2 til 3, hvor udbyttet af vinter-type Brassica kulturen er højere end et udbytte af en kultur af vinter-type Brassica planter af den tilsvarende vild-type isolinie og dyrket under de samme herbicidholdige betingelser.
- 17. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 2 til 3, hvor udbyttet af vinter-type Brassica kulturen er i det væsentlige svarende til udbyttet, når vinter-type Brassica kulturen dyrkes under fraværet af SU-herbicidsammensætningen.
- 18. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4, hvor den valgte Brassica plante er i stand til at tolerere den nævnte herbicidbehandling med en dosisstørrelse på i det mindste 1x af SU uden nogen betydelig SU-herbicid-induceret skade ved behandlingen.
- 19. Fremgangsmåde ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 18, hvor herbicidsammensætningen omfatter i det mindste én yderligere aktiv ingrediens valgt blandt: EPSPS-hæmmere, glyphosat; glutaminsyntetasehæmmere, glufosinat; ACCase hæmmere, dims, fops eller dens; PPO-hæmmere, saflufenacil; fungicider, pyraclostrobin; eller agronomisk acceptable salte eller estere deraf; og Brassica planten eksprimerer et træk med tolerance for de yderligere aktive ingredienser.
- 20. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor herbicidsammensætningen ifølge (A)(1) omfatter ikke mere end 5 vægt-% af totalt øvrigt SU indhold.
- 21. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 20, hvor herbicidsammensætningen ifølge (A)(1) omfatter ikke mere end 3 vægt-% af totalt øvrigt SU-indhold.
