Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un método para controlar malezas en un cultivo de Brassica de tipo invernal caracterizado porque comprende: realización del tratamiento posemergente de una planta de Brassica tolerante a herbicida (HT) de dicho cultivo por aplicación de una posición herbicida, que comprende sulfonilurea(s) (SU), a la planta y su vecindad inmediata, en una tasa de dosis en el rango de 0,25x a aproximadamente 4x de SU, en donde (A) dicha composición herbicida (1) comprende una SU seleccionada del grupo que consiste en amidosulfurona, flupirsulfurona, foramsulfurona, imazosulfurona, yodosulfurona, mesosulfurona, nicosulfurona, tifensulfurona y tribenurona, sus sales y ésteres agronómicamente aceptables y sus combinaciones, y (2) comprende no más de una cantidad significativa de cualquier otra SU; y (B) dicha planta de Brassica comprende al menos un gen AHASL tolerante a herbicida (HT-AHASL), en donde sólo uno de los genes de HT-AHASL en la planta codifica una mutación de tolerancia a herbicida de sulfonilurea (SU-HT) seleccionada de P197X y W574X y es un gen de mono-SU-HT-AHASL, que opcionalmente puede codificar otras mutaciones de HT y en donde dicho gen de mono-SU-HT-AHASL está ubicado en el genoma A de dicha planta de Brassica; y en donde dicha planta de Brassica es capaz de tolerar dicho tratamiento posemergente de SU en una tasa de dosis de 1x de SU sin significativa lesión inducida por herbicida de SU de dicho tratamiento.
