Claims (6)

1. Fremgangsmåde til forøgelse af en SCR-katalysators levetid, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter trinene: tilførsel af mindst én kaolinbærende lerforbindelse til en forbrændingszone eller røggasstrøm i en ovn eller kedel, før røggassen strømmer ind i en SCR; muliggørelse af, at den mindst ene kaolinbærende lerforbindelse kan reagere med eventuelle gasformige kalium-og/eller natriumforbindelser eller kalium- og/eller natriumholdige forbindelser, der er til stede i forbrændingszonen eller røggassen, før røggassen strømmer ind i SCR'en; tilførsel af mindst én jernbærende forbindelse til en forbrændingszone eller røggasstrøm i en ovn eller kedel, før røggassen strømmer ind i SCR'en; og muliggørelse af, at den mindst ene jernbærende forbindelse kan reagere med eventuelle gasformige phosphorforbindelser eller phosphorholdige forbindelser, der er til stede i forbrændingszonen eller røggassen, før røggassen strømmer ind i SCR'en.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor den mindst ene kaolinbærende lerforbindelse er udvalgt blandt en eller flere kaolinitholdige lerarter.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor den mindst ene kaolinbærende lerforbindelse tilføres til forbrændingszonen via en eller flere af gruppen, der omfatter: tilsætning til pulveriseret kul, biomasse eller en blanding deraf; tilsætning til råkul, biomasse eller en hvilken som helst kombination deraf, som derefter pulveriseres eller reduceres i størrelse; og en dedikeret tilførselsledning eventuelt enten i vandig suspension eller i pulveriseret form.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 3, hvor mindst én af den mindst ene jernbærende forbindelse er en jernbærende halogenidforbindelse, og hvor muliggørelsen af reaktion af den mindst ene jernbærende forbindelse omfatter muliggørelse af, at jerndelen af den mindst ene jernbærende forbindelse kan reagere, og fremgangsmåden yderligere omfatter: muliggørelse af, at halogeniddelen af den mindst ene jernbærende halogenidforbindelse kan reagere med eventuelle gasformige kviksølvsforbindelser eller kviksølvsholdige forbindelser, der er til stede i forbrændingszonen eller røggassen, til derved kontrol af kviksølv i en gas ved samtidig forøgelse af en SCR-katalysators levetid.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4, hvor den jernbærende halogenidforbindelse er udvalgt blandt jern (II)-bromid, jern (III)-bromid, jern (II)-chlorid, jern (III)-chlorid, jern (II) -iodid, jern (Ill)-iodat eller blandinger af to eller flere af disse; og eventuelt hvor den jernbærende halogenidforbindelse er jern (II)-bromid.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 4 eller 5, der yderligere omfatter tilførsel af en eller flere ikke-halogenholdige jernbærende forbindelser i kombination med det mindst ene jernbærende halogenid, hvor den ene eller de flere ikke-halogenholdige jernbærende forbindelser er udvalgt blandt jern (III) -oxid, jern (11)-carbonat, jern (II)-oxid eller blandinger af to eller flere af disse; og/eller yderligere omfatter tilførsel af jern (II)-carbonat i kombination med det mindst ene jernbærende halogenid; og/eller yderligere omfatter tilførsel af jern (II)-carbonat i kombination med et eller flere af jern (II)-bromid eller jern (III)-bromid.
