Claims (14)
1. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af polymerpartikler, hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: - tilvejebringelse af én eller flere polymerer, som er en polymer, der udviser en lavere kritisk opløsningstemperatur i vandige medier, som er mellem 10 og 90°C, idet polymeren er polymerisationsproduktet af én eller flere monomerer, der er valgt blandt polymeriserbare alkylenglycolacrylat-monomerer og polyme-riserbare alkylenglycolmethacrylat-monomerer; og - tilsætning af polymeren som en overfladeændrende surfaktant til en reaktionsblanding til fremstilling af en polymerpartikel ved en fremgangsmåde, som er valgt blandt emulgeringsfremgangsmåder, diffusionsfremgangsmåder og fordampningsfremgangsmåder.
2. Polymerpartikler, hvor partiklerne er stabile polymerpartikler, som har en størrelse på mellem 500 nm og 100 μηι i diameter, målt ved dynamisk lysspredning, og hvor partiklerne: (a) er dannet ved en fremgangsmåde, som involverer anvendelse af en LCST-polymer under emulgerings/diffusions/fordampningssynteseprocedurer med po-ly(mælke-co-glycolsyre), idet LCST-polymeren er en polymer, der udviser en lavere kritisk opløsningstemperatur i vandige medier, som er mellem 10 og 90°C, idet denne polymer er polymerisationsproduktet af én eller flere monomerer, der er valgt blandt polymeriserbare alkylenglycolacrylat-monomerer og polymeriserbare alkylenglycolmethacrylat-monomerer; eller (b) har en bionedbrydelig polymerkerne, som er poly(mælke-co-glycolsyre), og en termoresponsiv biokompatibel copolymerkorona, hvor copolymeren er en polymer, der udviser en lavere kritisk opløsningstemperatur i vandige medier, som er mellem 10 og 90°C, idet denne polymer er polymerisationsproduktet af én eller flere monomerer, der er valgt blandt polymeriserbare alkylenglycolacrylat-monomerer og polymeriserbare alkylenglycolmethacrylat-monomerer.
3. Partikler ifølge krav 2, hvor polymerpartiklerne: (a) har en bulkfase eller kerne af bionedbrydelige polymerer, som er valgt blandt poly(mælke-co-glycolsyre), poly(mælkesyre) og poly(glycolsyre); og/eller (b) i deres bulkfase eller kerne omfatter aktive bestanddele, som er valgt blandt: smagsstoffer, duftstoffer, små molekylelægemidler og biofarmaceutika og vækstfaktorer med langsom afgivelse og andre opløselige molekyler til vævsvækst, organ reparation og regenerativ medicin.
4. Partikler ifølge krav 2(a), hvor polymerpartiklerne er stabile polymerpartikler, som har en størrelse på mellem 500 nm og 5 pm i diameter.
5. Partikler ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 4, hvor de polymeriserbare alky-lenglycolacrylat-monomerer og polymeriserbare alkylenglycolmethacrylat-monomerer er valgt blandt: di(ethylenglycol)-acrylat, oligo(ethylenglycol)-acrylat, poly(ethylen-glycol)-acrylat, di(ethylenglycol)-methacrylat, oligo(ethylenglycol)-methacrylat, poly-(ethylenglycol)-methacrylat, poly(propylenglycol)-acrylat og poly(propylenglycol)-methacrylat.
6. Partikler ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 5, hvor den polymer, der udviser en lavere kritisk opløsningstemperatur: (a) er polymerisationsproduktet af to monomerer eller (b) er polymerisationsproduktet af poly(ethylenglycol)methacrylat (PEGMA) og po-ly(propylenglycol)methacrylat (PPGMA) eller (c) er en polymer, som har en molær masse på 25-75 kDa med et polydispersitets-(Mw/Mn)-indeks på 1-2,5, målt ved GPC.
7. Anvendelse af polymerpartikler som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 6 (a) til anvendelser med kontrolleret afgivelse, hvor anvendelserne eventuelt er valgt blandt anvendelser med smagsafgivelse, anvendelser med duftafgivelse og biomedicinske anvendelser, og hvor anvendelserne eventuelt kan involvere afgivelse af små molekylelægemidler eller biofarmaceutika til konventionel lægemiddelafgivelse eller afgivelse af vækstfaktorer med langsom afgivelse og andre opløselige molekyler til vævsvækst, organreparation og regenerativ medicin; eller (b) som celleunderstøtningsmatrixer, hvor polymerpartiklerne eventuelt understøtter cellevækst.
8. Produkt, som omfatter polymerpartikler som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 6 og biologisk materiale, hvor det biologiske materiale eventuelt er celler.
9. Celleunderstøtningsmatrix, som omfatter polymerpartikler som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 6, hvor polymerpartiklerne eventuelt understøtter cellevækst.
10. Fritflydende suspension, som omfatter (i) celler og (ii) polymerpartikler som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 6 ved en temperatur på under 37°C.
11. Rumudfyldende gel, som understøtter cellevækst og omfatter (i) celler og (ii) polymerpartikler som defineret i et hvilket som helst af kravene 2 til 6 ved legemstemperatur.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor de polymeriserbare alkylenglycolacrylat-monomerer og polymeriserbare alkylenglycolmethacrylat-monomerer er valgt blandt: di(ethylenglycol)-acrylat, oligo(ethylenglycol)-acrylat, poly(ethylenglycol)-acrylat, di(ethylenglycol)-methacrylat, oligo(ethylenglycol)-methacrylat, poly(ethylenglycol)-methacrylat, poly(propylenglycol)-acrylat og poly(propylenglycol)-methacrylat.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller krav 12, hvor den polymer, der udviser en lavere kritisk opløsningstemperatur: (a) er polymerisationsproduktet af to monomerer eller (b) er polymerisationsproduktet af poly(ethylenglycol)methacrylat (PEGMA) og po-ly(propylenglycol)methacrylat (PPGMA) eller (c) er en polymer, som har en molær masse på 25-75 kDa med et polydispersitets-(Mw/Mn)-indeks på 1-2,5, målt ved GPC.
14. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1,12 og 13, hvor polymerpartiklerne: (a) har en bulkfase eller kerne af bionedbrydelige polymerer, som er valgt blandt poly(mælke-co-glycolsyre), poly(mælkesyre) og poly(glycolsyre); og/eller (b) i deres bulkfase eller kerne omfatter aktive bestanddele, som er valgt blandt: smagsstoffer, duftstoffer, små molekylelægemidler og biofarmaceutika og vækstfaktorer med langsom afgivelse og andre opløselige molekyler til vævsvækst, organ reparation og regenerativ medicin.
