Claims (11)

  1. TVÆRBUNDET POLYOLEFINSKUMLAG OMFATTENDE KORKPARTIKLER
    1. Lag af polymerskum, der omfatter: (a) et kemisk tværbundet skum med lukkede celler, der omfatter mindst én polyolefin; og (b) korkpartikler, der er dispergeret i polymerskummet; hvor polymerskumlaget er kendetegnet ved, at: det indeholder mellem 2,5 - 10 dele pr. hundrede efter vægt af korkpartiklernes polyolefin (PHR); korkpartiklerne er homogent dispergeret i polyolefinskummet; det har en rumvægt på mellem 40-250 kg/m3, det i alt væsentligt er fri for synlige perforeringer; og polymerskummet fremstilles som et kontinuerligt lag ud af en homogen smeltning.
  2. 2. Polymerskumlag ifølge krav 1, der kan fremstilles med en tykkelse på mellem 2-20 mm.
  3. 3. Polymerskumlag ifølge krav 1 eller 2, der kan fremstilles som et kontinuerligt lag med en længde på mindst 2 m.
  4. 4. Polymerskumlag ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 1 til 3, kendetegnet ved én eller flere af følgende: en gennemsnitlig diameter på korkpartiklerne på mellem 100 pm og 3000 pin: en gennemsnitlig diameter på de lukkede celler på mellem 750 pm og 2500 pm.
  5. 5. Polymerskumlag ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 1 til 4, der har én eller flere af følgende egenskaber: en sætning under konstant kraft i luft på mellem 5 og 50 % målt efter 24 timer; en trækstyrke på mellem 100 og 10000 kPa ifølge ISO-1798; en brudforlængelse på mellem 30 og 500 % ifølge ISO-1798; en trykspænding (afbøjning ved 25 %) på mellem 20 og 2000 kPa ifølge ISO-844 og en trykspænding (afbøjning ved 50 %) på mellem 50 og 4000 kPa ifølge ISO-844.
  6. 6. Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af et kontinuerligt polymerlag, der omfatter: (a) kemisk tværbundet polyolefinskum med lukkede celler, der omfatter mindst én polyolefin; og (b) mellem 2,5 - 10 dele pr. hundrede (PHR) korkpartikler, homogent dispergeret inde i polyolefinskummet; hvor, når det er produceret, det kontinuerlige polymerlag har en relativ massefylde på mellem 40-250 kg/m3 og i alt væsentligt er fri for synlige perforationer; hvilken fremgangsmåde omfatter: i) kontinuerlig tilførsel i en blandeanordning ved en temperatur på mellem 60 °C og 200 °C af en blanding af mindst én polyolefinharpiks, af et opskumningsmiddel, et tværbindingsmiddel og korkpartikler, for deri at danne en homogen smeltning; ii) overføring af smeltningen til en ekstruderingslinje, der er konstrueret til at danne et kontinuerligt lag af smeltningen; iii) transport af det kontinuerlige lag ind i et opvarmningsmodul for opvarmning af det kontinuerlige lag til en første temperatur, der muliggør tværbinding af den mindst ene polyolefinharpiks, for at opnå et tværbundet polyolefinlag, hvor den første temperatur er lavere end den, der er krævet for aktivering af opskumningsmidlet; og iv) opvarmning af det tværbundne polyolefinlag til en anden temperatur, der muliggør aktivering af opskumningsmidlet, for at opnå det kontinuerlige polymerskum.
  7. 7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, der omfatter afkøling af det kontinuerlige polymerlag, når det er dannet, efterfulgt af valsning af det afkølede kontinuerlige lag for at danne valset polymerskum eller efterfulgt af opskæring af det afkølede kontinuerlige polymerlag i individuelle lag.
  8. 8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6 eller 7, hvor ekstruderingslinjen omfatter én eller flere af en ekstruder, en matrice eller en kalender.
  9. 9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 6 til 8, hvor den første temperatur er mellem 70 °C og 160 °C.
  10. 10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 6 til 9, hvor den anden temperatur er mellem 150 °C og 250 °C.
  11. 11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af krav 6 til 10, der omfatter blanding af den mindst ene polyolefinharpiks, 0,2-25 PHR kemisk opskumningsmiddel, 0,1-2 PHR tværbindingsmiddel, 2,5-10 PHR korkpartikler og 0-3 PHR pigment.
