Abstract

The film dispenser comprises a holder for a roll 11 of packaging material. The holder is carried by a support 10, which comprises a handle 12. A brake roller 13 is carried by the support 10 and engages with the peripheral surface of the roll 11. Springs 14 pull the roll 11 and the brake roller 13 towards on another, so as to produce a braking force on the roll 11, which limits the rotation of the latter and facilitates stretching of the packaging material, when this is drawn out from the roll 11 and round the brake roller 13. <IMAGE>
