Abstract

PURPOSE: To prevent generation of transverse slippage difference and prevent attraction creases, by providing fixed guide members between the feeding position of the photosensitive material and the carrying drum to slide the photosensitive material.
CONSTITUTION: Carrying unit 10 is formed by cylindrical fixed guides 18 and 19 and carrying drum 5. Photosensitive material 8 is attracted electrostatically by carrying drum 5 which has been charged and is carried by rotation of carrying drum 5. Since photosensitive material 8 is wound along curved surfaces of fixed guides 18 and 19, photosensitive material 8 slides while receiving frictional force in the contact face to fixed guides 18 and 19. Therefore, photosensitive material 8 can be prevented from generating transverse slippage gradually due to deflection of the parallel degree of fixed guides 18 and 19. Further, tensile force applied to photosensitive material 8 can be selected by selecting the winding angle for fixed guides 18 and 19, so that attraction creases of photosensitive material 8 can be prevented.
