Claims (15)

1. Sammensætning, som er nyttig til behandling af drikkevarer, omfattende xerogel-partikler med et porevolumen på fra 0,2 til 2,0 ml/g, og en middelpartikelstørrelse på fra 5 til 40 pm, hvor sammensætningen omfatter 20 vægt% eller mindre affine partikler.

5. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen omfatter 18 vægt% eller mindre affine partikler.
6. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen omfatter 15 vægt% eller mindre affine partikler.
7. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor middelpartikelstørrelsen ligger i området fra 10 til 25 pm og et overfladeareal på 400 til 800 m2/g.
8. Sammensætning ifølge krav 1, hvor sammensætningen omfatter en filtrerbarhed på i det mindste 40 mDarcy.

Fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af en sammensætning, som er nyttig til behandling af drikkevarer, omfattende: fremstilling af en hydrogel; opvarmning af hydrogelen for dannelse af en xerogel; formaling af xerogelen for dannelse af partikler; og fjernelse af fine partikler fra sammensætningen således, at sammensætningen omfatter xerogelpartikler med et porevolumen på fra 0,2 til 2,0 ml/g, og en middelpartikelstørrelse på fra 5 til 40 pm, og sammensætningen omfatter 20 vægt% eller mindre affine partikler.
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, hvor xerogelen omfatter fugtighed i en mængde på 20 vægt% eller mindre.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 9, hvor middelpartikelstørrelsen ligger i området fra 10 til 25 pm.

Fremgangsmåde til behandling afen drikkevare, omfattende: tilvejebringelse af en xerogelsammensætning; tilvejebringelse af en drikkevare; og filtrering af drikkevaren med xerogelsammensætningen, hvor sammensætningen omfatter xerogelpartikler med et porevolumen på fra 0,2 til 2,0 ml/g, en middelpartikelstørrelse på fra 5 til 40 pm, hvor sammensætningen omfatter 20 vægt% eller mindre affine partikler.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 12, hvor drikkevaren omfatter øl, vin, eller frugtjuice.
