Opfindelsen angår en fremgangsmåde til samling af to rør ved varmsvejsning, hvilke rør har parrede ender og en korrugeret væg af et smelteligt plastmateriale, som danner korrugerings-ribber, og hvorved hvert rør gennemskæres gennem en af væggens 5 korrugeringsribber, og et ringformet legeme anbringes i det ringformede spor dannet af et af rørenes gennemskårne kor-rugeringsribbe.
En fremgangsmåde af denne art kendes fra SE-B-425.519, ved hvilken en ring af smelteligt materiale anbringes i et åbent 10 udvendigt eller indvendigt spor i et korrugeret rørs væg i rørenes parrede ender.
Formålet med opfindelsen er at gøre det muligt at tilvejebringe en ensartet og pålidelig samling mellem rørene ved hjælp af relativt enkle arbejdsoperationer. Især er det tilsigtet ved 15 dobbeltvæggede rør, der har en korrugeret ydervæg og en glat indervæg, at tilvejebringe en samling, som på det indre rørs indre overflade ikke fremkalder uregelmæssigheder, som kan forstyrre strømningsmønsteret i røret.
Til opnåelse af dette formål er fremgangsmåden ifølge opfin-20 delsen ejendommelig ved de i krav 1 anførte kendetegnende træk, hvilke indebærer, at et i og for sig kendt ringformet legeme, som ekspanderer ved opvarmning, benyttes på en bestemt måde.
Opfindelsen forklares nærmere nedenfor under henvisning til 25 tegningen, hvor:
Fig. 1 viser skematisk et aksialt delsnit af op til hinanden liggende endedel af to dobbeltvæggede rør, som skal forbindes, fig. 2 et tilsvarende aksialt delsnit af to rør under det indledende trin af fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen, 30 fig. 3 et tilsvarende aksialt snit af rørenderne, når disse er DK 169391 B1 2 blevet ført sammen med henblik på at tilvejebringe en overlappende samling, fig. 4 et tilsvarende aksialt snit, der viser det egentlige svejsetrin, 5 fig. 5 et tilsvarende aksialt snit, der viser den færdige samling mellem rørenderne, fig. 6 et til fig. 3 svarende billede, der viser en stødsamling, og fig. 7 et til fig. 3 svarende billede, som viser en samling 10 mellem enkeltvæggede korrugerede rør.
Fig. 1-5 viser anvendelsen af fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen på dobbeltvæggede korrugerede rør A og B af den art, som har en korrugeret ydervæg 10 og en i forhold hertil tyndere glat indervæg 11. Begge vægge er fremstillet af et smelteligt 15 plastmateriale. Den korrugerede ydervæg kan være fremstillet af polyethylen, medens den glatte indervæg kan være fremstillet af polyethylen eller en smeltelig elastomer. Ved sidstnævnte udformning kan det dobbeltvæggede rør bøjes relativt let, hvorved det er velegnet til genforing af underjordiske 20 rørledninger. Ydervæggen og indervæggen er på kendt måde indbyrdes forbundet ved bølgedalene, hvorved der dannes lukkede ringformede hulrum 12. De op til hinanden liggende rørender ender i et snit gennem bølgetoppene, således at der ved hver ende er et åbent ringformet hulrum 13. I det åbne hulrum i 25 enden af røret A indsættes et ringformet legeme af i og for sig kendt art. Det ringformede legeme ekspanderer, når det tilføres energi. I dette tilfælde udgøres det ringformed legeme af en rørformet ring 14 med ovalt tværsnit. Ringe., kan eksempelvis være dannet af et PEX-rør, som er blevet fremstil-30 let med cirkulært tværsnit, og dernæst efter opvarmning er blevet deformeret til oval form og afkølet i denne form. PEX-røret er beviklet med en varmetråd (ikke vist), som er indret- DK 169391 B1 3 tet til at blive forbundet med en energikilde, og er belagt med polyethylen på den ydre overflade.
I det andet rør B er der indsat en afstivende cylindrisk dorn 15, som har rejfede endekanter og i den ydre overflade et 5 rundgående skråt spor 17, der er indrettet til at optage endedelen af rørets B tynde og forholdsvis bløde indervæg 11 som vist i fig. 2.
Når rørenderne er blevet anbragt på denne måde føres de sammen, idet dornen ved dens ydre ende danner en rampe 18 til at 10 løfte røret A lidt, når det skubbes ind på dornen, således at dette rørs ydervæg vil blive anbragt oven over det andets rørs B ydervæg, hvilket fremgår af fig. 3. Dornen 15 forskydes i aksial retning til en position, hvor den strækker sig over samlingen mellem rørene. Der er da også tilvejebragt en over-15 lapning mellem indervæggene, når den til rørets B hørende indervægs endedel, der er optaget i sporet, trækkes ud af sporet ved forskydning af dornen. En ydre fikstur 19 er indrettet til at omslutte rørene i samlingsområdet med henblik på sammen med dornen, der fungerer som en indre fikstur, at fast-20 lægge den etablerede overlappende samling under svejsetrinnet, der følger herefter. Dornen 15 kan være ekspanderbar for at kunne presses mod rørene og også for at kunne sammentrækkes og derved lettere kunne indføres i og trækkes ud af rørene.
Svejsetrinnet omfatter forbindelse af varmetråden til energi-25 kilden med henblik på opvarmning af ringen 14, hvilket tjener til at føre den tilbage i den oprindelige cirkulære form under opvarmningen på grund af den såkaldte hukommelseseffekt. Samtidig smeltes plastmaterialet i yder- og indervæggene samt plastmaterialet på ringens ydre overflade, således at der til-30 vejebringes en homogen overgang mellem disse rør, hvorved ringen sammensvejses med væggene. Fiksturen og dornen kan nu fjernes, og den færdige samling har et udseende som vist i fig. 5.
