Den foreliggende opfindelse angår en formdel af svejseligt, termoplastisk materiale og af den i indledningen til krav 1 angivne art.
Ved sammensvejsning af formdele af termoplastisk 5 materiale ved hjælp af sammenhængende varmeelementer med en elektrisk varmetråd som f.eks. varmeviklinger eller varme-raåtter bestemmes hovedparametrene for svejseforbindelsen, nemlig den i et tidsrum tilførte elektriske energi af en styreenhed og smeltetrykket under energitilførselsfasen af 10 den konstruktive udformning af den opvarmede formdel. Det sidstnævnte er enten givet ved den i lukkede svejsemuffer indlejrede krympeevne eller f.eks. ved radialt påsættelige, saddelformede formdele med passende konstruktiv udformning ved en udefra ved hjælp af spændeorganer påført påpres-15 ningskraft. Til kontrol af en uklanderlig svejsning er det imidlertid en fordel med ekstra indretninger på formdelene i området for varmeelementerne, hvilke indretninger er kendt under betegnelsen svejseindikatorer.
Fra CH patentskrift nr. 632 078 kendes en formdel af 20 den indledningsvis nævnte art, der er udformet som muffe til forbindelse af ledningselementer, og hvis indikatorindretning til overvågning af svejsningsen har en fra muffens yderkontur udgående cylindrisk udsparing, hvis bund ligger i nærheden af varmelederen, idet der forefindes en 25 væg mellem varmeleder og udsparing. Denne udførelse muliggør ganske vist en direkte synsindikation af tilstedeværende smelte, men den reagerer uheldigt på ydre påvirkninger som f.eks. omgivelses temperatur og vind. I ekstreme tilfælde forekommer en ukontrolleret udstrømning af smelte 30 fra fuge-zonen, hvorved der stedvis kan opbbygges intet eller for ringe svejsetryk, så at der i dette område ikke sikres en uklanderlig svejsning.
Endvidere kendes fra DE patentskrift nr. 2 760 064 en svejsemuffe med en svejseindikator indretning, som har en 35 af et frit rum omgivet følerstift, hvis fod er anbragt på bunden af dette. En ukontrolleret smelteudstrømning er 2

hervéd ganske vist usandsynlig, hvorved der heller ikke i det normale tilfælde foreligger en direkte synliggørelse af smelten. Den indirekte indikation ved forskydning af stiften ud over yderkonturen af muffen er, blandt andet på 5 grund af ydre påvirkninger, meget usikker, så at der navnlig ved tykvæggede formdele ikke er garanteret en pålidelig indikation af en uklanderlig svejsning.
En forbedret svejseindikator er omhandlet i EP offentliggørelsesskrift nr. 0173174 og har et lukket 10 hulrum og et deri anbragt stempel med en indikatorstift. En ulempe er også her den indirekte synliggørelse af smelte, hvorved der kan forekomme fejlindikationer f.eks. på grund af gas- eller damptrykdannelse. Desuden er forskydningen af stemplet afhængig af dettes friktionsforhold i hulrummet og 15 dermed også af måltolerancerne for stemplet og hulrummet, så at indikatoren ligeledes er upålidelig og desuden meget kostbar i fremstilling.
Formålet for den foreliggende opfindelse er at tilvejebringe formdele med en svejseindikator af den ind-20 ledningsvis nævnte art, som med den mindst mulige konstruktive indsats sikrer en direkte synliggørelse af smelten, uden at denne kan strømme ukontrolleret ud af indikatorindretningen.
Dette opnås ifølge opfindelsen ved det i den kende-25 tegnende del af krav 1 angivne.
Foretrukne udførelsesformer for og træk hos formdelen ifølge opfindelsen er angivet i de uselvstændige krav.
Opfindelsen skal i det følgende beskrives nærmere ud 30 fra udførelsesformer, idet der henvises til tegningen, på hvilken fig. 1 viser et længdesnit gennem en som svejsemuffe udformet formdel til forbindelse af to rørledninger, fig. 2 et deludsnit af den i fig. 1 viste svejse-35 indikator, fig. 3 den i fig. 2 gengivne indikatorindretning 3

efter fuldført svejsning, fig. 4 en anden udførelsesform for den i fig. 2 viste svejseindikator, og fig. 5 en yderligere udførelsesform for svejse-5 indikatoren.
Fig. 1 viser en som en svejsemuffe 1 udformet formdel til forbindelse af rørledningselementer som f.eks. enderne af rørledninger 2 og 21 af et termoplastisk materiale. Et formlegeme 3 af et termoplastisk materiale 10 har ved den forbindelsesfladen 8 dannende indre omkreds et varmeelement 4. Varmeelementet 4 består af en spiralformet viklet modstandstråd 5, som er forsynet med en kappe 6 af termoplastisk materiale. Ved sammensvejsning af de enkelte viklinger med hinanden fremkommer en kompakt vikling, idet 15 dennes ender 7 er ført ud ved enderne af af formlegemet 3 med henblik på tilslutning til et apparat med en strømkilde. Tilførslen af varmeenergi styres i apparatet på en sådan måde, at den i svejseområdet ved forbindelsesfladen 8 frembragte varme sikrer en uklanderlig 20 svejsning mellem formlegemet 3 og rørledningsendeme 2 og 2'. For at der kan opnås det til en god svejsning nødvendige svejsetryk, har formlegemet 3 en krympespænding, som frigøres ved opvarmning og trykker formlegemet 3 imod rørenderne 2 og 2'. Ved begge ender af svejseområdet er an-25 bragt en svejseindikator 10.
Som det fremgår af fig. 2 har svejseindikatoren et som en cylindrisk boring udformet hulrum 11, som i formlegemet 3 er åbent i retning mod forbindelsesfladen 8 og kun efter anbringelse af viklingen er dækket af 30 varmeelementet 4. I retning mod yderkonturen 9 af formlegemet 3 har hulrummet 11 en indsnævring 12 med en op-stemnings- og køleflade 13 og en udgangsåbning 14.
Ved varmefrembringelse ved hjælp af elektrisk strøm i varmeelementet 4 plastificeres, som det fremgår af fig.

Den ydre kappe af smelten størkner her, idet kun det i kernen værende varmere materiale stadig kan stige op i udgangsåbningen 14, hvor det på yderkonturen 9 danner en synlig prop 21 med lidt materi-10 ale.
Ved valget af forholdet D/H for hulrummet og d/h for udgangsåbningen eller indsnævringen 12 samt formen henholdsvis overfladebeskaffenheden af opstemnings- og kølefladen 13 kan mængden af den udstrømmende smelte holdes 15 lille. Dimensionen d bør maksimalt andrage 3/4 af D.
Fig. 4 viser et hulrum 11, hvis opstemnings- og køleflade 13 er forsynet med mindst én cirkelformet anbragt ribbe 15 til bedre køling af smelten. Indsnævringen 12 er herved dannet af et fast med yderkonturen 9 20 forbundet dæksel 16, som udviser opstemnings- og kølefladen 13 med ribben 15 og udgangsåbningen 14. Den faste forbindelse kan ske ved svejsning eller klæbning.
Udførelsesformen til højre for midteriinien er fortrinsvis beregnet til svejsemuffer 1 med små vægtyk-25 kelser af formlegemet 3. Ved større vægtykkelser anvendes det i fig. 4 til venstre for midterlinien viste dæksel 16a. Dette dæksel 16a har en til det indre af hulrummet 11 forlagt indsnævring 12. Længden af boringen 14 ved indsnævringen 12 er herved ligeledes mindre en målet 30 H af hulrummet 11 indtil indsnævringen 12.
Ved den i fig. 5 viste svejseindikator 10 er indsnævringen 12 ligeledes dannet af et fast med formlegemet 3 forbundet dæksel 16, som ved hjælp af et gevind 17 udefra er indskruet i formlegemet 3. Dækslet 16 er 35 forsynet med udgangsåbningen 14, idet dets indre endeflade danner opstemnings- og kølefladen 13. Ved denne udførelses- 5

form har opstemnings- og kølefladen 13 radialt forløbende ribber 15a. Dækslet 16 kan også være fast forbundet med formlegemet 3 f.eks. ved fastpresning eller ved en svejsning. Ribberne 15 eller 15a kan også ved den i fig. 2 vis-5 te udførelsesfonn være anbragt på opstemnings- og kølefladen 13.
For at smelten skal kunne være let synlig, kan området af yderkonturen 9 om afgangsåbningen 14 eller den ydre endeflade af dækslet 26 have en anden farve end smel-10 ten.
Den beskrevne svejseindikator muliggør en direkte synskontrol af den frembragte smelte, idet indikatorens fremtoning kun er meget lidt afhængig af ydre påvirkninger som f.eks. omgivelsestemperatur, vind osv., så at der 15 sikres en direkte indikation af smelte ved en uklanderlig svejsning.
Den beskrevne svejseindikator 10 kan også med fordel være anbragt på formdele, der er udformet som anboringsformstykker f.eks. svarende til det i EP-20 offentlig-gørelsesskrift nr. 0170844 omhandlede til tilslutning af afgreningsledninger, eller som er udformet til sammensvejs-ning med hinanden, med andre formdele eller med derimellem anbragte ledningselementer som det f.eks. er omhandlet i EP offentliggørelsesskrift nr. 0146775 eller EP 25 patentskrift nr. 0076460.

Claims (8)

1. Formdel (1) af termoplastisk materiale til forbindelse eller tilslutning af rørledningselementer (2,2*) og andre formdele ved hjælp af en mod rørledningselementet 5 (2,2') eller formdelen rettet forbindelsesflade (8), på hvilken der anliggende er anbragt mindst ét varmeelement (4) med en viklingsformet forløbende modstandstråd (5), og med mindst én svejseindikator (10) med et hulrum (11), k e ndetegnet ved, at hulrummet (11) er åbent i ret-10 ning mod forbindelsesfladen (8) og kun er dækket af varmeelementet (4) samt ved den overfor forbindelsesfladen (8) liggende, mod formdelens (1) yderkontur (9) rettede ende har en indsnævring ((12) med en ringformet opstemnings- og køleflade (13), og at der er anbragt en fra opstemnings- og 15 kølefladen (13) til formdelens (1) yderkontur (9) forløbende udgangsåbning (14) til udstrømning af smelten.
2. Formdel ifølge krav 1, kendetegnet ved, at opstemnings- og kølefladen (13) forløber i det væsentlige vinkelret på aksen for udgangsåbningen (14), og at 20 dens afstand fra yderkonturen (9) er mindre end fra forbindelsesfladen (8) .
3. Formdel ifølge krav 1 eller 2, kendetegnet ved, at længden (h) af udgangsåbningen (14) ved indsnævringen (12) er mindre end dybden (H) af hulrummet (11) 25 indtil indsnævringen (12).
4. Formdel ifølge ethvert af leravene 1 til 3, kendetegnet ved, at opstemnings- og kølefladen (13) er forsynet med omkredsmæssigt eller radialt forløbende ribber (15,15a).
5. Formdel ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 4, ken detegnet ved, at indsnævringen (12) er dannet ved hjælp af et fast med formdelen (1) ved yderkonturen forbundet dæksel (16,16a).
6. Formdel ifølge krav 5, kendetegnet 35 ved, at dækslet (16a) er forsynet med en i retning indad fra yderkonturen (9) forsat indsnævring (12). 7 DK 164266 B
7. Formdel ifølge ethvert af kravene 1 til 6, kendetegnet ved, at hulrummet (11) er udformet som en vinkelret eller tilnærmelsesvis vinkelret på forbindelsefladen (8) forløbende boring.
