Abstract

A device serves for individually separating laminar materials between two conveyors 1, 2 running in succession, the material lying on the inlet conveyor 1 being conveyed in an unbroken series. The device comprises a number of feed units 3 fitted in succession, each of which is formed by two feed rollers 4', 4@ parallel with one another and of the same diameter, and which at one end are drive-connected to one another by means of a belt drive 5, whilst they are each likewise drive-connected by means of a belt drive 7 at their other end to the adjacent roller in the feed unit situated before or after them respectively in the conveying direction F. The diameter of the pulleys of the individual belt drives is fixed so that, viewed in the conveying direction, the speed of rotation of the rear roller is increased in relation to the speed of rotation of the roller immediately in front for each two successive rollers in the conveying direction. <IMAGE>
