Opfindelsen angår en forseglingsstation til forsegling af to baner, især to emballeringsmaterialebaner, og med et løft- og sænkbart anbragt forseglingsværktøj samt med et som modhold tjenende svejseunderlag af elastisk materiale, hvor en af de værktøjsoverflader, der 5 ved forseglingsprocessen sammentrykker banerne, har en reliefagtig overflade, medens den anden er glat.
En sådan forseglingsstation er kendt fra tidligere åbenlys anvendelse.
Ved denne kendte forseglingsstation opstår der ved forseglingen det problem, at der især ved forseglingssømme, der ikke er rette, ikke 10 altid opnås en forsegling over hele fladen. Endvidere er der risiko for, at forseglingssømmen i det mindste delvis igen løsnes, når emballagen løftes fra svejseunderlaget, fordi den reliefagtige overflade i form af langsgående ribber ikke alene er tilstrækkelig til at udelukke en fasthæftning til svejseunderlaget.

Sådanne forseglingsstationer finder anvendelse i forbindelse med emballeringsmaskiner, især også vakuumemballeringsmaskiner, der ligeledes er kendt fx fra de nævnte patentskrifter. Svejseunderlaget dannes ved disse forseglingsstationer af 20 gummi med en glat overflade. Ved forsegling af disse baner opstår det problem, at den af plastfolie dannede bane, der kommer i forbindelse med svejseunderlaget, efter forseglingen i en vis udstrækning hæfter til svejseunderlaget. Denne hæftning kan formindskes derved, at plastfolien pudres. I forbindelse med produkter til medicinsk brug, 25 som fx sprøjter, er det imidlertid ikke muligt at pudre plastfolien på grund af den nødvendige renhedsgrad. Endvidere anvendes til emballering af netop disse genstande kun en papirbane som dækfolie, hvorfor de friske forseglings- eller svejsesømme mellem papir- og foliebanen meget let oprives, hvis plastfoliebanen hæfter fast til 30 svejseunderlaget.
Opfindelsen har til formål at forbedre forseglingsstationen og især at udforme den således, at fasthæftningen mellem foliebanen og svejseunderlaget formindskes eller undgås.

Derved opnås, at forhøjningerne deformeres ved forsegling. Når forseglingsværktøjet åbnes, fjedrer de deformerede områder tilbage til deres oprindelige form og afstøder derved en folie, der eventuelt har 10 klæbet sig fast til det elastiske svejseunderlag af gummi eller et andet elastisk materiale. Som følge af det tredimensionelle mønster opnås, at man kan forsegle vilkårlige former. Således kan man forsegle skarpe hjørner og kanter i alle retninger, uden at der ved hjørnerne optræder deformationer, eller at tætheden forringes. Dette muliggøres, 15 fordi de pyramideformede områder ikke i nogen større udstrækning strækker sig i bestemte retninger, ligesom de er små nok til at kunne tilpasse sig enhver form.
Opfindelsen vil i det følgende blive nærmere forklaret under henvisning til tegningen, på hvilken 20 fig. 1 viser et snit i en forseglingsstation ifølge opfindelsen fig. 2 svejseunderlagets overflade set fra oven, fig. 3 et snit i svejseunderlaget efter linjen I Il-Il I i fig. 2, og fig. 4 en emballeringsmaskine, hvis forvæg er udeladt.
Forseglingsstationen ifølge opfindelsen anvendes i forbindelse med en 25 emballeringsmaskine som den i fig. 4 viste. Denne har en materialerulle 3, fra hvilken en underfoliebane 4 afrulles og føres ind i en formestation 5 med en overdel 6 og en underdel 7. I denne formesta-tion formes der efter en opvarmning i underfoliebanen efter hinanden beliggende beholdere 8. Disse beholdere føres derefter til en ikke vist 30 fyldestation og senere til en forseglingsstation 1. Hvis emballeringsmaskinen er en vakuumemballeringsmaskine, er forseglingsstationen også udformet som vakuumstation. Samtidig afrulles fra en materialerulle 9 en overbane 10, der føres til forseglingsstationen 1. Overbanen lægges ved forseglingsstationen på sædvanlig måde oven over 3

beholderne 8 og forsegles på disse. Efter denne forsegling bliver beholderne adskilt fra hinanden ved en ikke-vist adskillestation.
Forseglingsstationen 1 har en til emballeringsmaskinens maskinstativ 11 fastgjort værktøjsoverdel 12 og en mod denne bevægelig værktøjs-5 underdel 13. I værktøjsoverdelen findes et forseglingsværktøj 14, der forsegler underfoliebanen 4 og overbanen 10 med hinanden. Forseglingsværktøjet 14 bevæges på kendt måde i retning mod underværktøjet ved hjælp af pneumatik 15 og føres tilbage til den i fig. 1 viste stilling ved hjælp af ikke-viste forspændingsmidler.
10 På de øverste flader af værktøjsunderdelen 13's sidevægge er der anbragt et elastisk svejseunderlag 16, der er optaget i en T-formet udsparing i værktøjsunderdelens rand. Ved forseglingen bliver underfolien 4 og overbanen 10 dels foldet mod hinanden ved sammenpresning af de to værktøjsdele 12 og 13 og dels af det af forseglingsværk-15 tøjet 14 udøvede tryk trykket mod svejseunderlaget 16.
Svejseunderlaget 16's mod underfoliebanen 4 vendende overflade 18 har en riflet overfladestruktur. Derved dannes ophøjede linjeformede, tværgående områder 19 og ophøjede linjeformede, langsgående områder 20, mellem hvilke der findes pyramideformede fordybninger 21, hvis 20 dybeste punkt er betegnet med 22. Ved den viste udførelsesform har pyramiden en topvinkel på 90°, og afstanden a mellem to efter hinanden følgende linjeformede forhøjninger er 0,8 mm. Ved denne strukturering af svejseunderlaget 16's overflade 18 deformeres forhøjningerne 19 og 20 under forseglingsværktøjet 14’s tryk, og der opstår en 25 i hovedsagen glat overflade. Efter afslutning af forseglingsprocessen sker der en afspænding af det elastiske materiale, der så føres tilbage til sin fig. 2 og 3 viste udgangsstilling. Ved den således strukturerede overflade opnås, at der mellem underfolien 4 og svejseunderlaget 16 ikke opstår nogen hæfteforbindelse, eller at en alligevel opstå-30 et hæfteforbindelse ved afslutning af det ved forseglingen anvendte tryk straks ophæves. Det er derved eksempelvis også muligt på udmærket måde at fremstille emballager af en ikke-pudret, kasheret underfolie og en af papir bestående overbane, uden at der er risiko for, at de nyligt dannede sømme kan oprives som følge af en ved-35 hæftning mellem underfolien og svejseunderlaget.

  1. 20 Forseglingsstation til forsegling af to baner, især to emballeringsmaterialebaner, og med et løft- og sænkbart anbragt forseglingsværktøj samt med et som modhold tjenende svejseunderlag af elastisk materiale, hvor én af de værktøjsoverflader, der ved forseglingsprocessen sammentrykker banerne, har en reliefagtig overflade, medens den 25 anden er glat, kendetegnet ved, at det elastiske svejseunderlags (16) virkeflade (18) har form af en rifling enten med forhøjede langsgående (20) og tværgående (19) områder og pyramideformede fordybninger (21, 22) eller med fordybede langsgående og tværgående områder og 30 med forhøjede pyramideformede områder.
