Opfindelsen angår en opblæselig genstand dannet af gummierede materialebaner, især af gummieret tekstil- eller formstofma-teriale, såsom en luftmadras, pude, slangebåd eller lignende, og en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling deraf.
Opfindelsen omhandler således en fremgangsmåde til etablering af en stedvis, varig forbindelse mellem gummierede materiale-baner, af den art, som anvendes ved fremstillingen af opblæse-lige genstande, for eksempel luftmadrasser, siddepuder, slange- 2

både, tømmerflåder, osv. eller til væskebeholdere af de mest forskellige arter. Alle sådanne genstande fremstilles sædvanligvis af baner af vævet stof eller formstof, der på den ene side er forsynet med et lag af et klæbemiddel, en gummiering eller lignende, som med sine gummierede sider er klæbet på hinanden og som kun ved de såkaldte sømsteder, dvs. ved periferien og ved bestemte mellemstrimler, er forbundet varigt med hinanden under anvendelse af tryk og varme. Mellem sømmene forbliver der ikke tilklæbede flader, der frembringer kamre, der skal fyldes med luft eller væske. For at forhindre en diffusion af luften eller væsken i udadgående retning må gummieringen nødvendigvis strække sig over hele overfladen af de anvendte materialebaner. Derved opstår der betydelige vanskeligheder ved fabrikationen, fordi det må forhindres, at materialebanerne, der ligger på hinanden med deres gummiering, og som endnu ikke er vulkaniseret, også forbinder sig med hinanden uden for de foreliggende sømme. Til dette formål måtte de pågældende fladedele dækkes stærkt med pudder, såsom for eksempel talkum. Til dette formål var der behov for velegnede skabeloner og dækkeorganer, som måtte pålægges og igen fjernes. Desuden måtte man udøve stor omhu, således at pudder-laget ikke blev beskadiget. På trods deraf var brokandelen ved fabrikationen forholdsvis stor. En anden kendt metode, som er beskrevet i østrisk patent nr. 125.784, bestod i, at man på underlaget, svarende til sømmenes forløb, påsatte forbindelses-stykker, der på sin side frembragte forbindelsen mellem de to materialebaner. Også herved var det nødvendigt at pudre de mellem forbindelsesstykkerne liggende flader af materialebanen stærkt, for at forhindre, at de to på hinanden liggende materiale-baner inden for forbindelsesstykkerne skulle klæbe til hinanden. Ulemperne ved denne fabrikationsmåde omfatter forøget material e- og arbejdsopbud til fabrikation og anbringelse af forbindelsesstykkerne .
Man kender også fra tysk patent nr. 821.715 en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af hule legemer af elastiske stoffer, hvor man som 3 143380 adskillelseslag anvender folier af formstof eller papir, som i forvejen er nøjagtigt tilskåret, og som er udstanset på de områder, hvor der skal frembringes forbindelse mellem materiale-banerne. Dette er en meget tidsrøvende proces, og den udviser den ulempe, at de relativt stive folier forbliver indesluttet i det færdige produkt og virker hæmmende ved benyttelsen deraf.
Det er opfindelsens formål at angive en opblæselig genstand dannet af gummierede materialebaner, af den i indledningen til krav 1 angivne art, der er billigere end de hidtil kendte genstande af denne art, og en fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af disse genstande, der kan gennemføres simplere og billigere end de hidtil kendte fremgangsmåder af denne art.
Den opblæselige genstand dannet af gummierede materialebaner i-følge opfindelsen er ejendommelig ved det i den kendetegnende del af krav 1 angivne. Det har overraskende vist sig, at anordningen af den angivne fiberstofvlies bevirker, at brokandelen ved fabrikation falder betydeligt, hvorved genstanden billiggøres.
Selv om fiberstofvlies-materialet forbliver i den færdige genstand, har det vist sig, at det ikke generer under anvendelse af genstanden.
Fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen er ejendommelig ved det i den kendetegnende del af krav .2 angivne. Herved opnås, at de gummierede materialebaner vedvarende kan forbindes med hinanden på bestemte steder under påvirkning af tryk og varme uden at måtte tage den besværlige pudring og den arbejdskrævende påsætning af forbindelsesstykker med i købet.
En særlig foretrukken udførelsesform for fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen er ejendommelig ved det i den kendetegnende del af krav 3 angivne. Det har i praksis vist sig, at denne kombination af overfladevægt af vlies-materialet, pressetemperatur og pressetryk giver anledning til opblæselige genstande med udmærkede egenskaber.

Som vliesstof kan man i henhold til opfindelsen anvende et fleksibelt, porøst, fladt materiale af tekstilfibre, der eventuelt efter forudgående forstærkning er forbundet ad mekanisk vej (for eksempel ved syning), ved sammenklæbning ved hjælp af et bindemiddel, ved begyndende opløsning, ved sammensvejsning eller ved en indbyrdes kombination af disse metoder. Sådanne vlies-stoffer består af på tilfældig måde mellem hinanden beliggende, tynde, enkelte fibre, og nærmere bestemt naturlige fibre (uld, bomuld, osv.), halvsyntetiske fibre (celluloseacetatfibre) eller fuldsyntetiske fibre (polyamid-, polyester-, polyacrylnitril-, polyethylen-, PVC- og polypropylenfibre).
Fortrinsvis anvender man ved fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen en cellulose-viscose-vlies med meget ringe tykkelse, af den art, der kommercielt betegnes "Viledon". Tykkelsen deraf svarer til en vægt på fra ca. 25 til ca. 30 g pr. m . Hensigtsmæssigt påføres fiber-vliesen på en af de to gummierede materialebaner, der skal forbindes med hinanden, og denne bliver sammen med vliesstoffet påført umiddelbart pa gummieringslaget af den anden materialebane, hvorpå allerede den varme presning af sømmene foretages. Den mellemlagte vlies har derved to funktioner. For det første danner det et virksomt separationsmiddel mellem de løst på hinanden liggende, gummierede materialeflader, hvilket forhindrer den uønskede, indbyrdes klæbning derimellem. For det andet penetreres den i området svarende til den varme presning, altså i området for sømmene og randene, fuldstændigt af klæbe-eller gummieringsmateriale, hvorved den samtidigt medfører en betydelig forstærkning af sømmene og randene, hvis rivestyrke forøges. Endeligt bliver ved den ringe tykkelse, permeabiliteten og den tilfældige fiberstruktur af vliesstoffet tætheden af sømmene og randene ikke påvirket.

Med særlig fordel anvender man en cellulose-viscose-vlies 50/50 (viscose- og celluloseandel) med en enhedsvægt på. fra ca. 25 2 til ca. 30 g/m , hvorved den varme presning på i og for sig kendt måde foretages under et tryk på ca. 10 atm. overtryk og ved 180 °C.
En yderligere, særligt fordelagtig fremgangsmåde til fremstilling af de opblæselige genstande består i, at den varme presning af de materialebaner, der skal forbindes med hinanden, fortsætter i så langt et tidsrum, at klæbemidlet eller gummieringen trykkes bort lateralt fra presseværktøjets område til dannelse af en vulst, der ligger mellem materialebanerne, og som slår bro over spalten.
ne med luft opblæselige eller med et andet medium fyldbare genstande ifølge opfindelsen, såsom luftmadrasser, puder, slangebåde eller lignende, eller sammenklappelige væskebeholdere, vandsenge osv., kan således udvise en vulst, der er dannet af klæbemidlet eller gummieringen af materialebanerne, der forløber langs sømmen eller randen, som slår bro over spalten mellem materialebanerne, og som derved er tætsluttende.

Ved udøvelsen af fremgangsmåden ifølge opfindelsen anvender man materialebaner, for eksempel tekstilbaner 1, der på den ene side er forsynet med en gummiering 2. Disse materialbaner bliver -som det fremgår af fig. 2 - i en stilling, hvor de er vendt mod hinanden med deres gummiering, lagt på hinanden på et arbejdsbord 3. Derved bliver der mellem de to materialebaner indført et tyndt fibervliesstof 4 af tilfældigt mellem hinanden liggende, naturlige eller kunstige fibre eller lignende. Denne vlies 4 er for eksempel en cellulose-viscose-vlies, der sælges under betegnelsen "Viledon", og som udviser en enhedsvægt på fra ca. 23 til ca.
30 g/m . Denne vlies udstrækker sig over den fulde flade af materialebanen og danner først et delelag, der forhindrer den indbyrdes klæbning mellem de endnu ikke vulkaniserede materialebaner .
I en varmepresse foregår slutteligt forbindelsen mellem materiale-banerne 1, 2 gennem vliesstoffet 4 og tillige kun i bestemte områder, sådan som det for eksempel fremgår af afbildningen på fig.
1. Dette opnås ved, at man anvender en opvarmelig presseplade, der svarer til afbildningen på fig. 1, og som udviser fremstående randflader 5 samt sømflader 6 eller 7 og 8. Randene 5 og sømmene 6 til 8 er anordnet såaan, at der imellem disse inden for randene 5 befinder sig fladedele 9, inden for hvilke der ikke forekommer nogen forbindelse mellem de på hinanden liggende materialebaner.
Ved opblæsningen af luftmadrasdelene fremkommer de sædvanlige luft-kamre mellem sømmene 6, 7 og 8 inden for.randene 5.
Ved den varme presning, der forekommer ved et tryk på ca. 10 atm. overtryk og en temperatur på ca. 180 °C, trænger gummieringsmate-rialet 2 gennem vliesstoffet 4 i området svarende til randene 3 og sømmene 6, 7 og 8, således at der etableres en tæt og intim forbindelse mellem materialebanerne.
På den anden side fortsættes den varme presning hensigtsmæssigt mellem en metallisk presseplade 10 og et hensigtsmæssigt af kryds- 7 148380 finer bestående presseunderlag 11 i et sådant omfang, at gummieringen 2 på kendt måde i lateral retning træder ud i et vist omfang i henhold til fig. 3 og 4 og danner en vulst 12 langs pressefladerne, hvilken vulst slår bro over spalten mellem materiale-banerne langs sømmene 6 eller randene 5. Det til tekstilbanerne 1 klæbende gummieringsmateriale 2 udviser en jævn overgang i forhold til vulsten 12. Denne vulst danner en sikring mod oprivning af sømmene og erstatter de sædvanligvis til dette formål benyttede foldestrimler.
På fig. 4 er der gengivet et snit gennem en søm, og man kan let se vulsten 12 af klæbende materiale og gummiering 2 og vliesmateri-ale 4, der klæber let til gummieringen 2 af en materialebane.
Det er tilstrækkeligt, når kun en materialebane er dækket med vliesstoffet 4 ved forarbejdningen. Men naturligvis kan begge materialebaner af simplificerende årsager udvise et dækkende vlies-stof. Det fremgår tydeligt af fig. 4, at gummieringen 2 i området svarende til presseværktøjet er trykket igennem vliesstoffet 4, og at den i en vis grad er komprimeret eller at en del af gummieringen er trykket lateralt ud til dannelse af vulsten 12.
Efter den foretagne, varme presning vulkaniseres den fremstillede genstand som sædvanligt, og vulkaniseringen er ved luftmadrasser eller lignende ca. 20 minutter, temperaturen er 140 °C og trykket er ca. 3 atm. overtryk.
Naturligvis skal pressetider, pressetemperaturer samt vulkanisa-tionsdata tilpasses til den individuelle genstand, som skal fremstilles.
