Abstract
The transmission device allows a condition signal (ZS) for a railway signaling light (S) to be transmitted to a locomotive (L) via a transmission unit (TU) connected in a circuit loop with the setting circuit (RS) for the railway signaling light, with voltage pulses (SP) provided in a periodic sequence across the setting circuit contacts.
