Abstract
1. Light panel for polyurethane foamed roof elements, preferably in the cross-sectional shape of a trapezium with or without a covering layer according to DIN 18 164 and DIN 4102. 2.1 The roof elements produced from rigid or flexible form can be provided with an aluminium, steel or plastic covering. To introduce translucent regions, they are cut out at the desired point and profiled light slabs for sealing against rain and double-web slabs for heat insulation are inserted therein. In this method, leaks occur in the joint region. Even if additional sealing materials are used, small quantities of water are able to penetrate after a while as a result of capillary forces. Furthermore, there is the disadvantage that the profiled and insulated light panels consist of two parts. 2.2 A light panel with a high insulating action and at the same time absolute raintightness is to be produced. The light panel is characterised in that it is provided as a three-layered, loadbearing building element with a recess (4) in the form of a step on a supporting rib (5), descending towards the centre of the slab, of the trapezium element arranged at the connection end A and with a sealing lip (8) at the opposite connection end B. 2.3 The light panel is used for large-span roof coverings of self-supporting design. <IMAGE>
