Abstract

A solid sealing strip for doors, windows or the like with a retaining section (1) at the bottom to anchor the sealing strip in a retaining groove, with a sealing section (2) at the top adjacent to the retaining section, which sealing section exhibits a closed hollow profile (3), and with a profile spine (4) running more or less straight from the sealing section (1) to the retaining section (2). In such a sealing strip, the profile spine (4) is provided with a reinforcing wall (23), which is made of a material which is considerably harder than the material of the remaining sealing strip. The seal can preferably be fitted without welding at the mitre corners. <IMAGE>
