Description
Bekannt ist, dass man bei Verwendung von hochkonzentrierten Schwefelsäurebädern Viscoseseide von sehr hoher Festigkeit dadurch herstellen kann, dass man die Fäden alsbald nach ihrer Formgebung im Fällbad einer entsprechend starken Verstreckung unterwirft. Diese Fäden zeigen aber neben ihren ganz ausgezeichneten Festigkeitseigenschaften den wesentlichen Mangel, dass sie einen harten und dabei völlig ungleichmässigen Griff besitzen, was sich bei der Weiterverarbeitung recht unangenehm auswirkt und die Fäden für manche Zwecke gänzlich ungeeignet macht. Verwebt man nämlich eine Viscosekunstseide, wie sie normalerweise mit Hilfe hochkonzentrierter Schwefelsäurefällbäder und unter starker Verstreckung des frisch gesponnenen Fadens erzeugt wird, so erhält man eine Webware, die ein ganz unruhiges Webbild zeigt und daher unverwendbar ist. Man hat in der Technik zwar versucht, durch Avivagemittel die schwankende Härte des Fadens zu beseitigen und hat damit auch gelegentlich gewisse Erfolge erzielt, indessen ist es bei diesen Versuchen mit für diese Zwecke untauglichen Mitteln geblieben, zumal nur zu oft ausserordentlich unangenehme Rückschläge eintraten.It is known that when using highly concentrated sulfuric acid baths, viscose silk of very high strength can be produced by subjecting the threads to a correspondingly strong stretching in the precipitation bath as soon as they have been shaped. Erfindungsgemäss ist nur ein technisch höchst einfaches und dabei vollkommen sicheres Mittel gefunden worden, die erwähnte ungleichmässige Härte des Fadens in überraschender Weise mit einem Schlag ganz zu beheben, indem man den unter starker Verstreckung gesponnenen, aufgewundenen und fertiggestellten Faden umwindet und dabei durch feine Drähte, Achatschneiden o.dgl. scharf in seinem Lauf abwinkelt. Beispielsweise geht man dabei so vor, dass man den Faden zunächst in einen Spinntopf einlaufen lässt und als Spinnkuchen in der üblichen Weise fertigstellt. Sodann wird der Spinnkuchen bei einer relativen Feuchtigkeit von z.B. 65% zu einem Kreuzspulwickel umgewickelt, sodann über feine Drähte geführt, durch die er jedesmal gezwungen wird, einen Winkel von 30° zu beschreiben. Direkt in die Augen springend ist es aber, wenn beide Kunstseidefäden nebeneinander verwebt werden.
