Tag der Anmeldung: 15. Februar 1954 Bekanntgemacht am 9. Februar 1956Registration date: February 15, 1954. Advertised on February 9, 1956
DEUTSCHES PATENTAMTGERMAN PATENT OFFICE
Ein Nachteil dieser bekannten Weichverfahren liegt auch darin, daß bei der Anwendung von lebensfähigen Kulturen ein exaktes Arbeiten wegen der Unmöglichkeit einer genauenSubject of patent application R 9477 IVd / 28 a is a common method for zuzurichtende on fur skins with proteolytic enzymes of pancreas, fungal or bacterial proteases in the presence of ammonium salts and reducing compounds at pH below 7. The use of Hefepilzkulturen or selbstverdauter yeast in The presence of wetting agents is known from German Patent 710 798 for soaking pelts and hides. With this method, however, hair loosening occurs rapidly, which is not desirable for a softening method. Despite this already intense effect on the coat, the softening effect on the skin is not sufficient, because according to the method described in German patent specification 721 885, the treatment baths should not only have wetting agents but also activators, for example sodium bisulfite, to increase the growth of yeast cultures or to increase the Enzyme action can be added. A disadvantage of these known soaking processes is also that when viable cultures are used, precise work is possible because of the impossibility of precise

Dosierung der enzymatischen Wirkung nicht möglich ist. Der österreichischen Patentschrift 155 132 ist ein Verfahren zum Enthaaren von Fellen mit Schimmelpilztryptaselösung unter Zusatz von Ak-Dosing the enzymatic effect is not possible. Austrian patent specification 155 132 is a process for dehairing fur with mold tryptase solution with the addition of ac-
Der enzymatischen Behandlung können die trockenen Häute und Felle ohne vorausgegangene Weiche unterworfen werden..5 activators, if necessary in the presence of wetting agents, to be found, the skins previously treated with a reducing sulfur compound, such as Sodium sulfite, possibly with the addition of soda, can be soaked. Also the French patent specification 49 233 describes a distinct dehairing process from hides and skins with mold tryptase and reducing sulfur compounds. The enzymatic treatment can die be subjected to dry hides and skins without prior soaking.
It has now surprisingly been found. that you can in a very short time without any Damage to the skin substance to an excellent. Soft effect with full preservation of the Hair coat occurs when you use protein-splitting enzymes in the presence of ammonium salts and reducing compounds at pfj below 7 with the simultaneous presence of carbohydrases is working. Carbohydrase preparations obtained in various ways are suitable for this process, especially those from microorganisms, especially from bacteria. As a proteolytic Enzymes have proven to be not only mold tryptase but also bacterial protease proved to be very useful. But pancreatic cryptase is also suitable. Such protein-splitting ones Enzymes can also be used in combination with one another. The proteolytic enzymes and The carbohydrates can be used together, which is particularly favorable, or in different ways one after the other Bring the sequence to effect.
End. Chem., ind. Edit. 37. 692 bis 696, Juli 1945. Lincoln, Nebr., Univ. of Nebraska. Ein Referat dieser Arbeit von L. D. Beckord, Eric K nee η und K. H. Lewis findet sich in C 1947, L, S. 207 (Ostausgabe).Under »Carbohydräsen« are according to »Gerbereichemie und Gernahmechnologie« by F. S tat, Akademieverlag Berlin, 1948, 1st edition, p. 175, to understand enzymes capable of cleaving glycosidic bonds as opposed to proteolytic ones Enzymes that attack protein bodies on the peptide bonds, bacterial amylase that if amylase also contains other carbohydrates that are effective in tanning, for example are manufactured according to Ind. End. Chem., Ind. Edit. 37. 692-696 July 1945. Lincoln, Nebr., Univ. of Nebraska. A presentation of this work by L. D. Beckord, Eric K nee η and K. H. Lewis can be found in C 1947, L, p. 207 (east edition).
Together with the listed proteolytic and carbohydrate-splitting enzymes, wetting agents that are compatible with these can also be used. But there is also the possibility of applying such wetting agents to the pelts before the enzymes are applied. As wetting agents for the pretreatment z. B. fatty alcohol sulfonates, fatty acid condensation products and alkylarylsulfonates. into consideration, non-ionic products such. B. polyglycol ethers or cationic products such as' z. B. quaternary ammonium salts. For the simultaneous use together with the enzyme, non-ionic wetting agents such as polyglycol ethers or other compatible, such as N-substituted aminocarboxylic acids, are particularly suitable.
The combination with wetting agents supports the enzyme action and also has a beneficial effect on the Emulsification of natural fat.
The soft bouillon with proteolytic enzymes and Carbohydräsen in, the presence of ammonium salts and reducing compounds at pH below 7 may be added to compounds acting preservative, which is particularly advisable when switches in the warmer seasons. Such preservatives can also be used before or after this softening process.
The pelts and hides soaked according to the invention can be further treated in any desired manner will.
