Description

Eng. Chem., ind. Edit. 37. 692-g6. Juli 1945. Lincoln, Nebr., Univ. of Nebraska. Ein Referat dieser Arbeit von L. D. Beckord, Eric Kneen und K. H. Lewis findet sich in C 1947. I. S. 207 (Ostausgabe). Process for the production of ready-to-tan pelts According to patent 927 464, ready-to-tan pelts are made by pickling of ashes and, if necessary, delimed pelts in such a way that pickling is carried out in the pimple at p $ 3 to 5 with enzymes formed by microorganisms in the presence of ammonium salts. The use of carbohydrases (amylase preparations obtained from bacteria) is indicated. Bacterial amylase, which in addition to amylase also contains other carbohydrases which are effective in terms of ganning, can be produced, for example, according to Ind. Eng. Chem., Ind. Edit. 37. 692-g6. July 1945. Lincoln, Nebr., Univ. of Nebraska. A report of this work by LD Beckord, Eric Kneen and KH Lewis can be found in C 1947. IS 207 (Eastern edition). This method offers the great advantage that the skin substance is loosened up to the desired extent during the pickling in acidic pimple broth without impairing the elasticity of the scar.

It has now been found that the pickling of ashed and optionally delimed pelts - especially when processing heavily ground raw materials - surprisingly leads to pure pelts if water-soluble mold lipases are added to the acidic pimple broth containing proteolytic enzymes. The advantages of the method according to patent 927 464, which are achieved by using carbohydrases, also apply in full to the method according to the invention.

It is known that the action of enzymes can be activated by activators, for example by adding oxyacids such as lactic acid or lactic acid salts, elevated will. The use of such activators is also important when performing the method of the invention useful.

According to Patent 927,464, further additives can be used with compounds work that: protect the enzyme from damage by the acid or its effects promote in these pH ranges. So you can z. B. the enzymatic action of bacterial protease by. Increase hydroxyl compounds such as glucose; Anhydric ones also have a similar effect Phosphates.

Example 1 Pickled acidic sheepskins from overseas are rated at 2oo ° / ° Pelt-weight water, 120% table salt, drummed up. This solution is set at 19 / ° Bacterial protease, 0.5 ° / ° ammonium sulfate, 0.250/0 sodium tripolyphosphate, 10/0 water-soluble Lipase from Aspergillus flavus, 0.50% lactic acid. By adding ammonia solution will the. pH adjusted to 4.5-5.

Example 2 Goat pelts are initially shorter to protect the grain than is usual, pre-pickled, then pickled in a pimple in one day Solution of 100 ° / ° water of pelt weight, 60/0 table salt, o, 40/0 sulfuric acid, 96 ° / ° ig, 0.5 ° / ° ammonium sulfate, 0.50 / 0 mold tryptase, 0.50 / 0 from Aspergillus water-soluble lipase obtained from flavus.

Der Enzympickel weist einen pH-Wert von 4,5 auf. . The enzyme pimple has a pH of 4.5. . Example 3 lamb pelts will initially be a 'stain with pancreatic stryptase and ammonium sulfate at p $ 8.2 subjected to 8.5 and then to further loosen the fiber structure and. cleaning of the scar without impairing its tightness, pickled for 2 days with a Solution of 100 ° / ° water of pelt weight, .60 / 0 table salt, .o, 50/0 sulfuric acid, 96%, 0.50 / 0 ammonium lactate, 10/0 mold tryptase, 0.5% bacterial protease, 10/0. water-soluble lipase produced from Penicilüum oxalicum.

The enzyme pimple has a pH of 3 to 4.
