Das dicht am Boden liegende, von unten angetriebene Rührwerk bewegt die Maische sofort beim Einblasen zu den, mit ihren untersten Windungen dicht am Boden liegenden Kühlschlangen, wodurch die Kühlwirkung verstärkt wird. Der Deckel des Bottichs ist vom bisher dort befindlichen Rührwerksantrieb befreit, wodurch Platz für die Prellglocke in der Mitte geschaffen wird, die nun die Maische gleichmässig über den ganzen Boden verteilen kann, ohne die Kühlschlangen wie bisher zu verkleben. Durch den Fortfall des bisher notwendigen, grossen komplizierten Rührwerks entfallen alle schwer zu reinigenden Ecken mit ihrer Gefahr der Förderung der Bakterienentwicklung.
