Es ist bereits ein Sicherheitsschloß vorgeschlagen worden, das ein zwischen der Nuß und Riegel angeordnetes, mehrarmiges drehbares Kupplungsstück mit eigener Zuhaltung besitzt. Diese Zuhaltung und das Kupplungsstück bilden die Schlüsselelemente. Das Schloß ist derart ausgeführt, daß der Schlüsselbart beim Aufsperren zunächst die Zuhaltung des Kupplungsstückes öffnet, dann das Kupplungsstück dreht, das nun seine Zuhaltung selbst offen hält. Anschliessend erfolgt die weitere Betätigung des Schloßmechanismus durch einen Arm der Nuß, der vor Beginn des Aufsperrens durch Hochziehen der Klinke o.dgl. zurückzudrehen ist und sich dadurch mit einem Querzapfen vor einen Arm des Kupplungsstückes legt. Bei anschließenden Vorwärsdrehen der Nuß durch Herabdrücken der Klinke wird dann vermittels des Nußarmes das Kupplungsstück weitergedreht, das dabei die Riegelzuhaltung und den Riegel öffnet. Das Absperren des Schlosses erfolgt von diesem Zustand aus einfach durch Rückdrehen der Nuß, also Hochziehen der Klinke, wobei das Kupplungsstück den ganzen Mechanismus in seine Sperrstellung zurückführt. In dieser Stellung ist bei der beschriebenen Bauart zwar der Riegel gesperrt; die Falle aber kann mittels der Klinke, an deren Stelle auch ein weiterer Schlüssel treten kann, entgegen der Kraft ihrer Vorholfeder nach wie vor betätigt werden.A safety lock has already been proposed which has a multi-armed rotatable coupling piece with its own tumbler arranged between the nut and bolt. Darauf wird die Nuß durch Druck auf die Klinke 20 nach vorwärts gedreht, wobei ihr Arm 10 das Kupplungsstück weiterdreht, das nun mit seinem Arm 6 die Zuhaltung 22 des Riegels 21 und endlich diesen selbst öffnet. Das Schloß ist jetzt aufgesperrt (Fig. 3). Abgesperrt wird es lediglich durch Rückdrehen der Nuß 8, also Hochziehen der Klinke 20, wodurch es wie im älteren Falle wieder in die Ausgangsstellung zurückgeführt wird, jedoch mit dem Unterschied, daß der Nußarm 10 dabei mit seinem Querzapfen 9 nunmehr in den Fangansatz 7 einfällt und so die Nuß 8 mit ihren beiden Armen 10 und 12 gesperrt wird.The process of unlocking and locking is exactly the same as with the older lock.
