Type of locking of the latch and is that the slot guide for
the shaft of the bolt latch containing the crank pin of the rotary knob on its side edge
has two notches one behind the other and that also on a special resilient,

The described training of the new lock brings a short, compact design,

Seitenkanten je zwei Rasten 18, i g.
fest.
26 in der in Fig. i dargestellten Lage festgehalten.
In the faceplate i of the lock case 2, the bolt latch 3 moves against the action of two helical springs 4, which are arranged on two guide bolts 6 connected to the bolt head, which are guided in a cross bar 7 fastened in the lock case. The bolt shaft 5 is provided with a slot 8 for left and right stop. In this slot 8, a bolt drive bolt 9 engages, on one, ii sitting by knob io to be moved Nockenacheibe 12 and which is under the influence of a spring 1. 3 A pawl 1 5 which can pivot about a pin 14 and which carries the locking pin 1 6 is arranged under the cam disk i z. The pawl 1 5 is under the influence of a compression spring 17 which constantly presses the pawl and thus the locking pin against the bolt shaft. The bolt shaft has two notches 18, i g, on one side or, for left and right use, also on both side edges. The lock pin 16 locks .the latch bolt on whole tour in the catch 9 and 1 half tour in the locking detent 18. The latter is provided with an inclined surface 2o; which causes the locking pin to be lifted out automatically when the bolt is retracted. By turning the button io protruding from the box, the cam disk attached to it is rotated with the locking drive pin 9; whereby the bolt pulls the latch back. To prevent overturning, a stop pin 2 i is provided on the inner box wall, against which a nose 25 rests when the cam disk is rotated. As FIG. 5 shows, the bolt can also be moved by a key 23. The mode of operation is as follows: When the latch bolt 13 is on the whole tour, ie in the locked position, as shown in FIG. 4, the locking pin 16 engages in the catch i 9 and holds the bolt in place. Will. Now by turning the button io, ii the bolt 9 and the cam disk 12 are rotated, the cam disk 12 pushes the locking pin 16 out of the detent i 9, and at the same time the bolt 9 pulls the bolt @ .. t '; JIig back so that the door can be opened. If the rotary knob is released, the bolt closes; until the locking pin 16 enters the detent 1 8 through the spring-loaded pawl 1 5 and thus locks the bolt halfway. The bolt 9 is held in the position shown in FIG. I by a projection 26 projecting into the slot guide 8. Is now z. B. slammed the door, the latch bolt goes back under the pressure of the strike plate. In this case, the locking pin 16 is released automatically sliding along the inclined surface 2o of the detent 18 (see FIG. 2), so that the bolt can shoot forward, the pin 1 6 not being able to jump into the detent 1 8 because the cam disk 12 prevents him from doing this because it has not yet returned to its rest position (FIG. 4) at this point in time.
