Solche Plakate werden in der Weise hergestellt, dass eine Einlage aus Blech oder vorzugsweise aus starker Pappe mit einem bedruckten und lackierten Papierbezug versehen wird. Beim Hochglanzpressen dieser Plakate lässt es sich nicht vermeiden, dass die Narbung der Plakateinlage auf der Schauseite des Plakates bemerkbar ist. Die Lackierung des Plakates vermag sich zwar der hochglanzpolierten erwärmten Fläche anzupassen und einen Hochglanz anzunehmen; dieses Hochglanzpressen hat aber nicht eine solche Tiefenwirkung, dass auch die Einlage des Plakates von diesem erfasst wird.
