Description
The solution of solid substances in liquids, in particular metals in acids, often requires undesirably long reaction times or a high concentration of the solution liquid. The invention is based on the idea of supporting the dissolving process by using sound waves, in particular ultrasound, by exposing the substances to be dissolved and the liquid to the action of sound waves. It has been shown that this leads to a considerable acceleration of the dissolution process or a solution can be achieved even with a lower concentration of the acid or other solution liquids, in that the sonication acts, so to speak, as a catalyst during the dissolution process. This makes it possible to save valuable raw materials, such as those required for acids, alkalis or the like. There can also be advantages for the use of the reaction vessels, since they no longer have to be exposed to such highly concentrated liquids and possibly less high temperatures as a result of the sonication. A substantial sonication of the resolution results z. B. in the solution of nickel in dilute sulfuric acid, of sodium sulfate in water, of copper in hydrochloric acid.
