Description
Process for the solubilization of solidified aggregates Aliphatic acid glycerides. Are the glycerides after the aliphatic acids one of the known methods by the action of chemical or physical means transferred into the changed state of aggregation, they lose the ability to to mix with or dissolve in the given solvents.
It has now been found; that one is in the changed state of aggregation can make converted glycerides of aliphatic acids soluble or swellable, if one determined the glycerides in question before, during or after the action Substances that are characterized by their swelling capacity, such as B. colloids or Collagens or the like.
This means that the use of glycerides has changed in aggregate form given for some purposes for which they were previously unsuitable. Be like that known to be only partially oxidized glycerides, which have not yet changed their physical state used as an additive to paints. These only partially oxidized Glycerides are then further oxidized under the influence of the air after being painted on. But in most cases this causes the familiar phenomenon of breaking and finally the crumbling of the paint. One would get the completely oxidized glyceride can use, which has an elastic plastic nature, so would this evil can be eliminated. The use of the fully oxidized glyceride has failed so far because of the insolubility and immiscibility of the in the changed Physical state transferred Glycerides.
This drawback is remedied by the present invention. Oxidized solid linseed oil can be z. B. do not mix with the solvents. But if the linoleic acid glyceride before, during or after the process of oxidation or polymerizing a colloidal substance such as. B. casein or plant slime, added, the glyceride converted into the changed state of aggregation can with water or with the known hydrocarbon solvents in a paintable Solution or emulsion liquid are brought, which the use for brushing off enables.
Beispiel. Example. 'To carry out the method z. B. 23o parts of polymerized linseed oil with 2o parts of dry raw casein intimately mixed. With 100 parts of naphtha (so-called thinning liquid) and 100 parts of water, the mixture results in an emulsion which can be diluted with water and naphtha.
