Gegenstand der Erfindung ist eine Vorrrich-. tung an Waschmaschinen für Rüben, Kartoffeln und dergl., welche die Trennung des Abfalles von dem Waschgute im Innern der Trommel bewirken soll, und zwar unter continuirlichem Auswerfen des Abfalles aus der Trommel vermittelst einer am hinteren Trommelende angeordneten Schaufel.The invention is a Vorrrich-. on washing machines for beets and potatoes and the like. Das Waschgut fällt auf der Schurre H (Fig. 1) in die. bis zur Höhe der hinteren Oeffnung a mit Wasser gefüllte Waschtrommel A (Fig. 1, 2 und 3) und wird von der Transportschraube m (Fig. ι und 3) sofort nach vorn getrieben, während der Abfall bis auf die tiefste Stelle der Trommel herabsinkt und sich hier ansammelt. Das sich eventuell dieser Transportschraube entziehende Waschgut wird durch die keilförmigen, auf dem Trommelmantel sitzenden Absätze // (Fig. 1 und 3) gehoben, wieder zum Schwimmen gebracht und der Transportschraube von Neuem zugeführt, während der Abfall sofort wieder auf den Trommelmantel herabsinkt, sich hier ausbreitet und in den Bereich der Fangschaufeln ο ο (Fig. 1 und 2) gelangt, welche ihn der Auswurfschaufel r (Fig. ι und 2) zuwerfen. Diese letztere, welche sich an der einen Seite an den Trommelboden anschliefst, auf der anderen Seite aber auf eine bestimmte Länge ohne jede seitliche Begrenzung ist, reicht vom Trommelmantel bis zu dem Konus ρ (Fig. 1 und 2), der die hintere Trommelöffnung α umgiebt und an der Verbindungsstelle die Oeffnung η (Fig. 1 und 2) hat. Die Schaufel r (Fig. 1 und 2) steht radial und ist so gegen die Oeffnung η gestellt, dafs die letztere von beiden bei der Trommeldrehung zuerst aus dem Wasser auftaucht und von der Schaufel beim Aufsteigen kein Wasser durch die Oeffnung η getrieben werden kann. Dasselbe fliefst vielmehr von der Schaufel in den Wasserraum zurück und nimmt durch seine Strömung hier befindliches Waschgut wieder mit zurück, während der Abfall auf der Schaufel verbleibt und mit ihr hochgehoben wird bis er auf derselben herabgleitet und durch die Oeffnung η in den Konus und von diesem in die Abfallschurre G (Fig. 1) abfällt.The laundry falls on the chute H (Fig. 1) in the. up to the level of the rear opening a filled with water washing drum A (Fig. 1, 2 and 3) and is immediately driven forward by the transport screw m (Fig. ι and 3), while the waste sinks down to the lowest point of the drum and accumulates here.
