Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet ein Verfahren zur Carburirung der Luft mittels Petroleums oder irgend einer kohlenstoffhaltigen Flüssigkeit, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dafs die Zerstäuber zur Zertheilung der kohlenstoffhaltigen Flüssigkeit in feine Flüssigkeitsstrahlen durch die zu carburirende Luft selbst in Thätigkeit versetzt werden, indem die Luft unter Druck mit der zu carburirenden Flüssigkeit derart in Berührung gebracht wird, dafs sie durch-ihren Druck das Hochsteigen der Flüssigkeit in die Zerstäuber veranlafst, aus welchen die Flüssigkeit im fein zertheilten Zustande gemischt mit der Luft austritt.The subject of the invention is a method for carburizing the air by means of Petroleum or any carbonaceous liquid which is characterized by it is that the atomizers are used to break up the carbonaceous liquid into fine jets of liquid are set into action by the air to be carburized, in that the Air under pressure is brought into contact with the liquid to be carburized in such a way that that through its pressure it causes the liquid to rise into the atomizer, from which the liquid emerges in a finely divided state mixed with the air.
