.Process for dyeing structures made of polyamides and polyurethanes.
It has been found that structures made of polyamides and polyurethanes, for. B. flakes,
Threads, ribbons. Or fabric, can be dyed evenly real and in clear tones,
if you dye them in a neutral to slightly acidic bath with such dyes,
which has a sulfonic acid and / or carboxyl group in an aromatic ring
but are practically insoluble in water. .
Dyes of this type can be found in a wide variety of dye classes,
z. B. among the azo and azomethine dyes, in the anthraquinone and in the phthalocyanine series.
As is well known, acidic groups which make water soluble are primarily those
Sulphonic acid, the sulphonamide and the carboxyl group. Die-for the present proceedings
In relation to the molecular size, only those dyes may be considered
or such a small number of nucleus-bound sulfonic acid and / or carboxyl groups
contain that they are still practically insoluble in water.
enthalten.Suitable dyes are e.g. B. copper phthalocyanine monosulfonic acid,
also azo dyes which, as a coupling component, are a 2; 3-oxynaphthoic arylide
and contain only a single sulfonic acid group in the overall molecule, or
Azomethine
or azo dyes, the only water-soluble group that is a carboxyl group
contain.
The dyes are expediently finely divided or dispersed
Shape used. You can dye with them in the boiling bath.
Man erhält leuchtende, kräftige,. sehr gleichmäßige Färbungen von
sehr guten Naßechtheitseigenschaften.Bright, powerful, are obtained. very even colorations of
very good wet fastness properties.
Compared to dyeings that are done with disperse dyes without water-solubilizing
can achieve acidic groups are obtained substantially by the present process
better wetfast and partly clearer colorations. Before the water-soluble acidic dyes
the dyes to be used in the present process have the advantage of one
better leveling ability.
Beispiel i Man färbt ioo g eines Polyamidgewebes
Beispiel 2 Man färbt ioo g
It has already been proposed to use finely dispersed polyamide fibers
Azo dyes. to color, the sulfamide groups and optionally sulfonated oxyalkyl groups,
but do not contain any sulfonic acid or carboxyl groups bonded to the nucleus, because one
was of the opinion that the latter groups, because of their excessively large water-solubilizing properties
Effect prevents the dyes from being absorbed onto polyamide fibers. It means
on the other hand, overcoming a prejudice and enriching technology,
if, according to the present invention, such dyes, not even of the azo series
belonging, which contain nucleus-bound sulfonic acid and / or carboxyl groups,
can be used for dyeing polyamides and polyurethanes, provided they
are practically insoluble in water. Example i 100 g of a polyamide fabric are dyed
i hour at 950 with 3 l of an aqueous bath containing 2.9 and 85% formic acid
2 g of the finely divided azo dye from dianotated i-methyl-4-arninobenzene-3-sulfonic acid
and 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid-3'-chloro-4 ', 6'-dimethoxyanilide. After rinsing
and finishing gives a bright red, very even, strong color
of very good wet fastness properties and good light fastness. Example 2 100 g are dyed
Polyamide yarn 75 minutes at 90 to 100 ° in 2 liters of an aqueous bath containing 1 g of sulfuric acid
(660 Be) and 1.5 g of the azo dye from dianotated 2-amino-5-chlorobenzenecarboxylic acid
and i-phenyl-3-methylpyrazolone- (5) in dispersed form. The yarn will
colored in pure yellow tones; the coloration is good lightfast and wetfast.
und 2 g Schwefelsäure (660 Be) enthält.
ist sehr gut naßecht und gut lichtecht.EXAMPLE 3 100 g of polyamide yarn are dyed for one hour at 95 to 1000 with 2 liters of an aqueous bath containing 2 g of finely divided copper phthalocyanine monosulfonic acid and 2 g of sulfuric acid (660 Be). The yarn is dyed bright blue; the coloration is very lightfast and wetfast. Example One dyes 100 g. a polyurethane fabric 1 hour at 95 ° with 5 liters of an aqueous bath containing 3 g of acetic acid and 2 g of the finely divided azo dye from dianotated i-methyl-4-aminobenzene-3-sulfonic acid and 2,3-oxynaphthoic acid-2-methylanilide. The trade is colored bright scarlet; the dyeing is very good wetfast and good lightfast.
