Die Erfindung betrifft einen Ballon oder Luftschiff körper, welcher in ähnlicher. Weise, wie im Patente Nr. 91887 angegeben, mit Gas gefüllt wird. Es geschieht dies nach vorliegender Erfindung, indem man zuerst in den Ballon oder Luftschiffkörper A einen zusammenklappbaren oder faltbaren Behälter A1 durch die Oeffnung a1 einführt, der aus mit OeI präparirtem Seidenstoff, Leinewand oder dergleichen besteht und aufgebläht werden kann, so dafs er alsdann sich genau dem Innern des Ballons anpafst und diesen genau wie ein Futter ausfüllt, worauf man alsdann das aus der Oeffnung a1 hervortretende Ende des Futters A1 an das Rohr 8X einer Luftpumpe A2 anschliefst und von dieser aus das Futter mit Luft füllt, um dadurch die zwischen Futter und Ballon befindliche Luft zu verdrängen, welche alsdann durch die Ventilöffnung 9 austritt, und worauf man schliefslich, nachdem man das Rohr 8X der Luftpumpe von dem Futter abgenommen hat, den Ballon A bei 9 an das Rohr 4 eines mit Wasserstoffgas oder einem anderen Gase gefüllten Vorrathsbehälter r anschliefst und aus diesem das Gas zwischen Ballon und Futter einströmen läfst. Indem das Gas in den Ballon einströmt und diesen füllt, entweicht aus letzterem, bezw. dem Futter die zuvor in dieses eingelassene Luft. Dabei fällt der das Futter bildende Stoffbehälter ^1 in sich zusammen und kann dann durch die Oeffnung a1 herausgenommen werden.
