Die Erfindung betrifft einen Raumlufterhitzer, insbesondere Wandlufterhitzer, mit Gebläse und Wärmeaustauscher, der im oberen Teil wärmer .als im unteren Teil ist. Solche bekannten, in Fig. z der Zeichnung schematisch dargestellten Wandlufterhitzer mit einem eingebauten :schräg stehenden Heizkörper a und einem Luftgebläse b weisen den Nachteil -auf, daß die heißeste Luft infolge der oben stärkeren Erwärmung des Heizkörpers a im oberen Teil zier Austrittsöffnung c des Lufterhitzergehäuses d und die kältere oder kalte Luft infolge der unten geringeren oder völlig fehlenden Erwärmung im Heizkörper a :dagegen im unteren Teil der Öffnung c austritt. Die Kaltluft fällt infolge ihres höheren Eigengewichts nach dem Verlassen des Lufterhitzers schnell zu Boden und erzeugt dadurch in der Nähe des Lufterhitzers einen unangenelhmen kalten Luftzug, während die heißere Luft nach oben steigt und ,die Räume im oberen, nicht aber, wie erwünscht, im unteren Teil beheizt, was eine Wärmevergeudung bedeutet. Schließlich kann auch ein Teil der Rückwand und die rechtwinklig angeschlossene übliche Decke des Lufterhitzers als Leitmittel für die :aufsteigende Luft benutzt werden, was ein der Zeichnung (Füg. 2) ebenfalls g estnichelt angedeutet ist.
